"We stayed for 3 nights and were very pleased with our stay. Rooms were large. Although we heard street noise during the day, it was quiet at night. The outside terrace was scenic and peaceful. Breakfast was good with many items to choose from. Staff were pleasant and helpful. It was a very good value. Bathroom was small."

"Weimar is one of the cultural highlights, Bauhaus, Goethe, Schiller ... The Furstenhof is near to the city center, a bus stop is very near to the hotel, either if you want to go to the main station or the main square in the city. The room was very spacey, a huge flat screen, a good wardrobe and several cushions are given. The bathroom was not to huge, the shower need a step to walk in. A fridge with chilled drinks is on the same floor outside the room, what improves the silence in the room. The room has lots of places for things, a desk and some chairs. The breakfast in a very cozy and silent room is well assorted, with freh fruit sald, tasty buns (wow), cheese, ham, marmalade, cereals, boiled eggs, joghurt. We enjoyed the breakfast very much. Next time again..."

"We have no complaints about this guesthouse: -The room was quiet and very well furnished -The breakfast was very good. There was a large selection. The selection was always replenished immediately. -The hosts were excellent at looking after us. Tips were given and all questions were adequately answered. -The rooms were cleaned regularly every day. -The walk to the center was about ten minutes. There was a bus stop right in front of the guesthouse. -There were enough parking spaces."

"Nice small hotel, beautifully decorated, near the center, but quiet. Railway station about 15. Min walking distance. Good bed, WiFi OK Personal 50/50... But - - - the shower was a lounge and the water was just loud! The lady at the emergency phone just explained how a shower works (!) and then, quote: "What should I do now? I am not a climper" Not the answer you expect from a hotel in such a problem. So - the evening before my business date and next morning it was called "The search for the hot water drops" The reception should have been occupied, but it wasn't, which me did not have any iron available (The not occupied reception was communicated 2 days before, but I was already on business trip). Only a friendly retailer, with whom I bought a clothing piece, and who borrowed me his iron, helped me appear appropriate at my business date. The room was very cool, heating was closed and there was only one deck in the room. As well as only 2 towels and only 2 very soft kits (I like to sleep higher...) All very "counted", what I find unsympathetic. Safe, yes, but in mini-format, most suitable for jewelry. Laptop, camera - no chance. At the check-out, I was not granted a discount for the discomfort - to make it mild - with the shower, nor at least a free drink offered. Therefore, despite good location and beautiful decor, not from my side recommendable, and if I travel business next time to Weimar, I will stay again, as always, in Erfurt, which is only 15 minutes by train."
