"The hotel is located near the University at tram line 1 which is very convenient. It is possible to walk to the to the grand bazar in just 15 min. The street is however quite steep which is not convenient with big bags or mobility issues. The rooms are very clean and the staff is nice and polite. However, the hotel needs renovation as many small things are broken already, such as the support for the shower. The walls are very thin but since the location is very calm is fine to sleep, unless people in the room next to you are nosy. The breakfast is good. There is not too much variaty but the food you do have is fresh."

"This is a superb hotel. We were given a room on the 18th floor with a wonderful view, partially overlooking the Bosphorus. The room was well-equipped with everything we needed: bathrobes, an ironing board and iron, a capsule coffee machine, and convenient refillable dispensers for shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, and lotion. Housekeeping cleaned every day, but at random times. We received one liter of water per person, and more was available at breakfast. Water was also provided in the sauna, or you could simply ask for it. The breakfasts were excellent. They offered red fish, blue cheese, a variety of freshly squeezed juices, fruits, and poached eggs. For the first time in Turkey, I found delicious cold cuts and a system for ordering omelets without waiting in line – a waiter would bring it to you, along with drinks. There were also yogurts, muesli, and pastries. The hotel has an excellent pool with comfortable sun loungers featuring thick mattresses and pillows. Staff would lay out towels and bring umbrellas. Nearby, there was a sauna and a hammam. There's a bar, but the prices are quite steep. The location is also excellent. There are plenty of places to eat around, a metro station, and bus stops. The Havaist airport shuttle stops across the street, and Taksim Square is nearby. I loved absolutely everything about this hotel. If I'm ever in Istanbul again, I will definitely return."

"Excellent hotel location! It's close to public transport and attractions. However, the room photos shown during booking didn't match the room we were assigned. It was smaller. The front desk explained that it was the same room category, but rooms within the category might differ slightly. If that's the case, they should really provide photos of all rooms for transparency, instead of booking one thing and getting another. The daily cleaning was good, but sometimes they'd forget to replenish things, like fresh towels or bottled water. The hotel has a nice, small Irish pub with friendly staff and good quality drinks, where we watched the World Cup matches."

The owners of this charming little hotel are incredibly kind and helpful, always striving for cleanliness and hospitality. Even though we arrived much too early (5 a.m.) on the day of our arrival, we all got our rooms and breakfast served on the rooftop terrace, which is enclosed by glass doors! A fantastic selection, fresh coffee and tea, and various juices. Fresh, homemade bread. Perfect. And then there was the sunrise over the sea, the ships, and the silhouette of Istanbul in the distance... so romantic and dreamy. The Marmaray station (suburban train) is right outside the door, providing excellent access to Istanbul's city center. In the evening, we returned to a clean room and bathroom. Slippers were provided, and fresh towels were supplied daily. Highly recommended. Everything you need is nearby: a hairdresser, shops, a taxi rank, and more."
