"The hotel was easy to find and the room was nice and warm, with adjustable heating. The only issue was that our range hood was broken, so we had to keep the door open while cooking. The front desk was staffed until 11 PM and we were able to store our luggage there."

"We had a difficulty getting in as we never received the code as promised. Just make sure you have it before you reach the place and if not, then they will send it to you if you call the support line. The apartment is very clean, cosy and warm with comfortable furniture and bedding, but absolutely only the minimum is provided. There is just one bed cover and pillow per person, whereas 2 per person would be preferred. There are some important amenities that are missing, which would greatly improve our stay: foot mat in the bathroom, hooks behind doors and bathroom to let your tower dray off, shower gel, shampoo, extra garbage bags , a couple of coffee capsules and tea bags, basic condiments in the kitchen. Would be nice if they provided the basics as you may arrive very late at night and would like to have something to drink at night or in the morning before heading out. Excellent location even though there is some temporary construction right outside that will disturb your sleep in the morning. We did not experience any noise from music as other reviews say as everything was closing by midnight. We travelled end of November."

"The hotel is about a 20-minute drive from the airport. After getting off the bus, you need to walk uphill a bit to reach it, which may be inconvenient for those with large luggage or heavy luggage. The hotel is only a 5-minute walk from the city center, making it very convenient to reach famous streets and the northernmost McDonald's. There are also various restaurants, supermarkets, and convenience stores nearby, so you won't go hungry. The hotel rooms are generally clean. The shower in the bathroom has strong enough power and is very comfortable. There is no hairdryer in the room, but you can borrow one from the front desk. You need to bring your own shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, and other toiletries. The hotel lobby always has free hot water, hot tea, and cookies. A waffle bar is available at 5 pm, which is suitable for travelers who have completed a half-day tour to rest and recharge before going out for an aurora tour. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay."

"This room was excellent! It was always raining or snowing in Tromsø, and my clothes would get dirty, but luckily the room had a really good washing machine, so I could wash my clothes every day. There's a supermarket and a bus stop right outside, making transportation and shopping very convenient. Although it's a bit far from the main city area, it's only a 10-minute bus ride, so it wasn't an issue at all. The only problem was that I couldn't figure out how to use the induction hob; when I turned it up high, the alarm would go off, and pressing the middle button didn't stop it. Also, it would be great if the room had a TV. Overall, it was perfect."

"The best part was the night time view from our window. And now the reality of actually staying there, Arctic Mary Rooms "Hotel". 1. Nice front door,with a pile of junk ceiling high at the side. 2. Needed a torch to operate key code pad outside, making a loud noise with every touch. 3. Boots strewn all over the hallway causing me to trip when entering. 4. Misdescribed Superior Room, no mention of shared bathroom and toilet. 5. Only one thin pillow each, contacted the manager (he had emailed us, to ask him for anything we need) but absolutely no reply from him. Rolled up our quilts as pillows and winter coats used for blankets. 6. Kitchen table, worktops, sink and hob covered in dirty old dishes and food scraps. 7. Dishwasher rammed full and not working. Not even one clean cup or plate to be found. 8. Cigarette stubs outside our room and smokers at open front door. 9. Constant loud stomping up wooden stairs for the bathroom and toilet, playing loud music in the shower, wet towels always on the floor, dirty shower full of product bottles 10. Smeared excrement on toilet seat, I had to clean before use, and blood smear on the wall by the bin. 11. Second night at 0130 in the morning loud door bell was rung every few seconds for about 30 minutes, then at 0155 loud shouting inside, I had to get up and call down for quiet. 12. Third night, double booking of room next to us, family was thrown out after midnight, with 45 minutes of crashing and yelled arguments in italian until 0100hours Avoid at all cost if you don't want to be stressed out"
