"Although from the outside it doesn't look like a hotel but once you enter the building and reach the reception, all's well and good service given by receptionist. Room is spacious, clean and there's a mini fridge, jug kettle provided. Location is convenient to bus stops, supermarket and the Old Town."

"We spent seven nights at the Palazzo President Hotel in Split to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and overall we had a wonderful time. The standout feature of this hotel is undoubtedly the staff. Everyone genuinely seemed to want us to have the best possible stay and a special mention must go to Dominika and Roko, who both went above and beyond throughout our visit. Dominika kindly arranged complimentary tickets to the National Theatre in Split, which was a lovely surprise and something we would never have done ourselves. Although we didn't understand a word, it was a memorable experience! We were also treated to chocolate-dipped strawberries, which was a thoughtful touch for our anniversary. The location is excellent. Situated just on the edge of the Old Town, the hotel is peaceful and quiet while still being only a few minutes' walk from all the restaurants, bars and attractions that Split has to offer. Our room was modern, clean and very quiet at night, with an excellent shower and comfortable bed. There is also a pleasant bar area and a new terrace and gym opened shortly before we left. Before travelling, we knew there wasn't a swimming pool available, but we didn't realise that construction work was taking place to build a new pool and roof terrace. Unfortunately, being on the third floor meant we were occasionally woken early by loud banging. We raised this with the hotel and although we were told it was air-conditioning work, it was clear that building work was taking place. Despite this, Roko and Dominika arranged transport for us to use the pool and spa facilities at the sister hotel, which provided a welcome escape from the busy city centre and was greatly appreciated. For anyone visiting Split who wants a day off from the city, we would recommend Žnjan City Beach. The area has recently been redeveloped and offers plenty of sunbeds, restaurants and even a supermarket. It's only a short Uber ride or an energetic walk from the hotel, The staff and location are unquestionably five-star. However, the ongoing construction work was not what we expected from a five-star hotel and did impact our stay. For that reason, our overall rating is four stars rather than five. Despite this issue, we thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary trip and would like to thank the wonderful staff for helping to make it so special."

"Hotel located in the city center, near the bus stop. The hotel is clean and has private parking. Very friendly staff. The room is nice and spacious. A few minor issues with the bathroom. The toilet paper holder is much too far from the toilet; it's not in the right place at all. There's at least 1.1 meters between it and the toilet."

Slavija Culture Heritage Hotel

"It's expensive, but worth it. This is the oldest hotel in the area, built on the remains of ancient Roman baths. The restaurant on the lowest floor is said to be where the baths once stood, and the two tables were used for the hot and cold pools, respectively. I was told that the exterior staircases and the stones inside the building (like the square door frame behind the reception desk and the exposed stone walls inside the rooms) are all original. Notably, many of the stones used in the building are said to have been recovered from ancient Roman walls and then processed. It's expensive, but the staff are friendly, and the receptionist is incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the place."

Villa Matejuska Heritage

"The hotel is right on the seaside, a 10-minute walk from the old town, and the pier and bus station are both about 15 minutes' walk away, which is very convenient. There is no elevator in the hotel, but the big brother was very kind and took the initiative to help us carry our luggage when we checked in. The room is large and facing the street is a bit noisy, but the windows have two layers and good sound insulation. When they are closed, it is very quiet~"

"Tony and Antonio were the perfect hosts. The room was spacious. The ensuite was as well. The accommodations location was perfect for me. It was near the train station the bus station the ferries the restaurant the sightseeing the open markets and also pharmacies. I cannot fault the room the location nor the superbly attentive lovely ladies in the breakfast room who made me probably the yummiest omelette I’ve had in a long time. Anyone travelling this accommodation is five star at probably what I would say a three star price Tony and Antonio are the best "

"This is not a 4 or 5 star hotel. This is a room without elevator in a fourth floor without concierge service. There are no amenities. If you have luggage and you're elderly, please book another place to stay. The room was clean but tiny. The breakfast included is a voucher in a restaurant a block away."

B Gold Luxury Rooms B&B

"Nice little place around 20min walking distance from old town. The rooms were clean and the beds were big and comfortable. Air conditioner was nice plus in the room for warm nights. Breakfast was one of the reasons why we end up this place. It was small, but you got there anything you need for breakfast and start your day. But I can not recommend to use dairy products because they were on warm all the time and I don't think they throw them away after the breakfast. Some kind cold plate or minifridge would help that situation quite well. Coffee was the best what i have had outside from Finland and that is huge plus! Saturday they fried eggs fresh, brewed Coffee fresh (I just loved that thick chocolaty notes from that coffee) and brought nutella crepes on the table as well. Really nice touch before we needed to leave. The staff is efficient but friendly. We had two room Keys but after party night I forgot my key inside the room when I got out to smoke and my friend was sleeping heavily and didn't answer the phone. I needed to wait hour and half that first staff came so I got inside the room. Sorry for that lady if I jump scared her! There was this older lady who don't speak english but her heart is warm and pure gold! She even offered me a different room which was pitch black so I could rest better but I can assure that I was so tired that sun didn't bother me at all! They were my saviors after that night. But when I waited someone to come to work I walked around the area and there was fresh market right across the street and nice small Bakery what I can recommend. There is also lots of Coffee shops and bars where locals are so you don't need to go to the old town if you want to hang around that area."
