"The hotel is poorly maintained, the pools are not well painted, there are spots that need paint. There is a heated pool that is in a building where the roof was removed, it looks sad. The service at the restaurant is bad because they have few waiters, the breakfast is bad, the avocado is out of a bag, the eggs are like brown, little variety of things. The exterior paint is old. The plastic lounge chairs. We wanted to go to the spa, we went down and they told us that we couldn't go without making an appointment, even though there was no one there, but by far the most precarious place is the heated pool."

"1 block or so from beach. Excellent hotel, clean wifi 2 block from main restaurants street. You park and don’t have to drive any more. If you don’t want. Great terrace if you want to see volcano at night. Great breakfast Buffett and staff always ask you if u need something.."

Rakau Lodge

"The lodge is intimate and one of a kind with fabulous cabanas for the majority of the rooms. The rest of our party had one of the cabanas and I volunteered to take a room in the main lodge,(was FANTASTIC!), because the hotel had a couple of women in what was to be my cabana who were literally hugging trees and were reluctant to leave.. 🤣🤣🤣 From my and the 4 other people I traveling with’s perspective, we could not have asked for more gracious staff and the food was world class. If you are looking serenity coupled with world Class hosts and great food this is your spot. Enjoy!"

"A centrally located, small, friendly hotel. My room was warm with a great view, comfortable bed and en suite bathroom. The Reception staff were very helpful and the snug lounge with complimentary tea was a pleasure to use. A highlight was the breakfasts : everything was homemade from juices to bread, cakes and jams by Miriam, and served with an attentive smile. I highly recommend this b&b hotel."

"I had an incredible experience at Mirador Los Volcanes Lodge Boutique! The views were absolutely unbeatable, providing a breathtaking backdrop for my stay. The cabins were not only comfortable but also spacious, equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. My family thoroughly enjoyed our time here. My 4-year-old daughter absolutely loved the outdoor spaces, especially the tree house, the pool, and playing with the sheep. She also had a fantastic time at the playground and with Waffles, the property cat, which made her stay even more special. Cristian, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. His hospitality truly made a difference and added a personal touch to our visit. I can confidently say that this will be my favorite place to stay whenever I visit Pucon. Highly recommended!"
