"Its a jungle lodge so don't expect 5 star luxury. Staff are excellent and very helpful, esp Mr Darshan at the reception / Food area. We chose the Maharaja package, no regrets about that. Amenities are all good, AC in the bedroom but not in the ante-room, large bathroom, bathtub open to the sky. No Wifi, but very good Airtel signal for voice and data. Food is great and wholesome but not gourmet style. Rooms are spacious, well furnished, but need a little maintenance. Power takes some time to return - a few minutes, and this happens several times daily. Safari is great, with possibility of sighting many animals although Tiger may be elusive... You enter the Jungle almost immediately, but travel about 45 mins through the Jungle (public road) before branching off into a mud road into the jungle proper. So half the time is spent on the main road and not the interior jungle road. But animal sightings are common even on the public road. "

The on site amenities such as swimming pool, billiards, campfire, koi pond, and large screen TV (perfect for World Cup!) kept our large group of 17 busy in between safaris. "Transit stay in Mysore near railway station. Located in a commercial area which is quiet at night when I arrived late. Hotel took the effort to call me and find out when I would check in. Check in was quick and room was decent -clean bed sheets & towels, clean washroom. I did not understand the need for a solitary low height wooden chair. Cupboard had no hangers. Toiletries was limited to a piece of soap, no shampoo sachets. Bathroom light switch was also connected to a noisy exhaust fan. I Appreciate front desk person to guide me to a nearby restaurant to eat dinner "
