"I worked here briefly as a Zimmermädchen over 40 years ago. Coming back as a guest I wasn't quite sure what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised. No longer a poor university student I was able to afford the newly renovated courtyard room - it was excellent - good bathroom, nice and quiet. The family still run the hotel, the breakfast is very generous (much better than the roll and butter of the 70s!). The hotel is close to the Nationaltheater and within easy walking distance of the city centre. We were there just before Christmas - wonderful for the Christmas Market. The staff were very friendly and frankly the level of cleanliness was far better than that which I attained. Very happy to recommend."

So I did the first day I looked around Heidelberg and the second day Mannheim and near Frankfurt!! Also the hotel's amenities and cleanliness is perfect!!! I will definitely stay again"

"Basic but acceptable. The automated check-in process is a bit confusing if you book via Trip.com rather than B&B's own app. Rooms are fine, if a bit uninspiring, no tea or coffee making facilities but you get what you pay for. We arrived late, stayed one night and didn't have breakfast, so didn't interact with staff, but that's fine. Can't complain for the price. Have used B&B before and probably would again."

"The hotel wasn't really clean and we were supposed to have breakfast at 7am and then there was no one there. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone because it is, in a word, absolutely bad and there was dust everywhere and it felt like the air conditioning wasn't working. It was very hot. It was, in a word, bad."

"Unkempt, smoke detector in the drawer, condom between the bed and the nightstand, the alternative room offered wasn't much better. Definitely in need of renovation. Staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, cancellation was only possible for a fee. In the case of such deviations, it should be free of charge."
