"Breakfast was incredible - absolute highlight of the trip! Sat on the beach with the best view for brekkie! A fair way out from town but a beautiful stretch of beach! One of the nicest beach areas we saw and we walked along this section of the island a few times in our holiday there - excellent relaxing music & a good atmosphere with no children. Good & friendly service, nice and clean room, only negative was we struggled to find the entrance and had to wait for staff to check in. If you get rain be aware the roads get fairly waterlogged but you can just about navigate this."

"Despairable experience at HM Villas Palapa del Mar. Despite a confirmed 5 months in advance for two beds, the hotel has tried to impose a single bed at arrival. The logistic nightmare continued the following day : Obliged to pack up our goods and store them at reception. The room was not ready for the trip at 13:00. After we were asked to return 1 h later, we were still required 40 minutes of waiting. Beautiful location, the beach was gorgeous at the less busy stretch, the rooms were understated but luxurious and really well kept with lovely little touches: fresh amouse bouches from the kitchen every evening sent to the room, a sun hat as a gift when we arrived. The restaurant was lovely as were the staff who seemed really happy and proud of their job/the hotel. The pool was clean and a lovely break from the salt of the sea. It was a 5 star experience on an untouched island. We will be back! From room 7 ☺️"

Only one problem: upon arrival, they gave me the wrong room and only told me that there was an error in my reservation on the part of the app and that, based on what I had paid, that was the room I was entitled to. I showed them my reservation; I had paid for something better with a king bed (it said so in the description of my reservation). They replied that they didn't have another room and that they could change it for me the next day…"

"Room was nice, design is cute. Unfortunately really noisy depending on the room you get. There’s several bars nearby and some you can hear everything until 2 am. Some rooms are quieter though. Location is good if you like to go out. If not then you’re just in the epicenter of noise. Cleanliness was good but they never came to clean the rooms/fill up water/take the trash. Staff was nice and helpful."

"The place is amazing and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The helped us with the late checkout, with extra stuff we needed and also booking transportation. Always quick and with a smile. The rooms are large, clean and the AC works super well. It is 2 blocks (2 minutes walk) from the main square and 4 blocks (3/4 minutes walk) from the sea. The check in and checkout was super fast and easy and at night it was very quiet and we had a great rest. I definitely recommend it."
