"Hotel service was impeccable, staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and well maintained, especially loved the toilet and showers which were spacious with good water pressure. There’s also a free lounge that served simple drinks and small snacks which was much appreciated. Location is also great, within walking distance of the both the JR and metro stations. Shimbashi station is well connected to various lines that you’d use to hit the common attractions, also close enough to Ginza. Highly recommended and would definitely return again for my next trip to Tokyo"

"The facilities are definitely old, but the location is still good. I always stay at this hotel every time I come to Japan because I'm used to it, and Roppongi is a pretty nice area to stay in. It's also close to the subway station. However, this time I was very disappointed; the room they gave me smelled terrible. Even after turning on the ventilation and spraying deodorizer, it still stank. The most disgusting part was that the bed sheets were dirty. I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't brought disposable sheet covers. I couldn't stand it anymore and asked to change rooms. Their attitude was good, but the hygiene situation is really concerning. I won't be staying here again."

"Ten years ago, our family stayed at the Tokyo Green Palace Hotel when we visited Tokyo; our kids were quite young then. Its location is superb, within walking distance of Tokyo Station, surrounded by many restaurants, yet still maintaining a slight distance from the bustling city center. Although the hotel facilities are a bit old, its advantages lie in its spacious rooms, large beds, and affordable prices. Overall, it offers great value for money, which is why we specifically chose to include breakfast. Now, in the past two years, our son has become a university student. With extensive travel experience, he's capable of traveling independently with his high school friends. So, I booked this hotel for the two boys again. It's incredibly convenient for them to visit Shinjuku, Shibuya, Yokohama, and check out anime-related spots, which also gives us parents great peace of mind. Getting to and from the airport is also very convenient."

Wasabi Mita Hotel

"The facilities are complete with towels and toiletries provided, and the sheets are already made. The interior is very clean, the fan is always on, providing excellent air circulation, and there are plenty of showers and toilets. In terms of hardware, this is the best hostel I've experienced in Japan. The location is also great, not far from the subway station, and within walking distance to Tokyo Tower, Shiba Park, and even the beach if you walk a bit further. The only slight drawback is that, although it's self-check-in and I didn't expect much help from the front desk, the staff member's expression was too cold when she saw someone. After making eye contact, she immediately turned her head away. I hope the hotel can at least provide some basic hospitality training for its staff. It's close to the railway, so there's an occasional rumbling sound, but earplugs are provided. Considering the price, it's almost a perfect hostel."

"Clean and perfectly adequate if you're just looking for a place to sleep. However, it's a hassle to have to enter a password every time you want to use the elevator to go to a specific floor. Also, the lounge's operating hours are a bit too short."

Staywork Asakusa

"The location is excellent, right next to Senso-ji Temple with bridges on both sides, making it an easy walk to the Asakusa area. However, the cleanliness was just okay. There's only one shower and one toilet, and surprisingly, only the main entrance has a lock, not the dormitory doors themselves."
