"The hotel is located in the Swan Lake Scenic Area, within walking distance to the cruise ship sightseeing area. The trail on the right side of the hotel is beautiful and less crowded! I am very grateful to the hotel staff Aurora for switching me to a view room that faces the Yellow River! She also pushed the location of various nearby attractions to me! The view from the room is very wide, and it is worth the drive from a thousand miles away! This is the exterior view of the 6017 river view room!"

"Before booking this hotel, I compared several options and chose this one because of its high ratings and the fact that the hotel responded to every review diligently. The hotel's location is very convenient, close to the high-speed rail station. The room was very clean, with a large window and comfortable bed. The bathroom also had a separate shower and toilet. The receptionist proactively reminded me that the water and drinks in the room were free and even provided a children's toothbrush for my child. I booked a standard room, which only included two breakfasts, but the receptionist gave me an extra one. The milk at breakfast was fragrant, and the spicy soup was also quite good and delicious. The receptionist was very friendly and proactively introduced nearby restaurants and attractions."

"We took the kids to Sanmenxia for a spring outing during the Qingming Festival holiday! The hotel environment was elegant and comfortable, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, resolving any issues promptly. After a day of fun, we could relax in the hot springs at the hotel, which was very relaxing and rejuvenating. The surrounding area was convenient with plenty of restaurants and transportation options, and it was only a ten-minute drive to the Dikengyuan (a traditional courtyard house), making it very convenient!"

I was woken up twice during the night by a child shouting loudly in the apartment across the hall, even though the doors were closed. The service was mediocre. Two of us wanted to use separate blankets in the double bed, so we asked the front desk for an extra blanket, but they said they didn't have any. It was the first time I'd encountered a hotel that couldn't even provide an extra blanket."

"If you're coming to Shanzhou, you absolutely have to experience a pit-dwelling guesthouse! I highly recommend this one; I stumbled upon it by chance, and it's an absolute gem. The one I stayed in is a renovated century-old courtyard. As you walk down the path, you immediately experience the unique warmth in winter and coolness in summer that these pit dwellings offer. It's truly a summer haven (especially coming from Hangzhou, where it hits a scorching 40 degrees!). In the evenings, a gentle breeze flows through the courtyard, and you can look up to see a sky full of stars. With sunflowers growing everywhere, it's 100 times more comfortable than a hotel. Sitting in the courtyard creates such a wonderful atmosphere. I strongly recommend dining here; they serve incredibly authentic farm-to-table dishes that you simply won't find anywhere else. The Shanzhou specialties like braised carp, braised eggplant, and stir-fried green beans are all so flavorful and incredibly moreish, especially when paired with their handmade steamed buns – you'll want to lick the plate clean! You can eat until you're stuffed for just 30 RMB per person. I can't forget these flavors, and I'll definitely be back if I get the chance!"

However, this stay at this hotel was a huge disappointment. Putting aside everything else, the lobby reception was utterly inadequate for a luxury hotel. Frankly, there was virtually no service. The hotel seemed to be taking advantage of its size, with the lobby staff being incompetent. Perhaps this hotel hosts numerous conferences and has no shortage of rooms, so their service was dismissive, lacking any of the service expected of a star-rated hotel. Choosing this hotel was the worst experience I've had in years! Utterly disappointed, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone expecting luxury hotel service!"
