"The location is fine but an old room is allocated during my stay so strong toilet odor is smelled in my room. Even worse is my credit card was charged without authorization (despite they refund but transaction cost is still incurred and the customer needed to bear for the hotel's mistake), given that the room is fully prepaid. Had strong doubt on the integrity of the staff, be careful if u stay in this hotel."

"Was one of the best locations in Riga old town for a hotel, easy to walk to central station and Le town is on your doorstep. Room was clean, had a laundry to use but unfortunately it was locked when we went to use it!"

"Hotel położony w odległości ok 30 min spacerem od dworca kolejowego i autobusowego. Przy samym hotelu jest przystanek tramwajowy, którym przyśpieszy nam tę podróż. Do samego centrum też odległość jest ok 30 min pieszo. Obok hotelu jest duży market. Obsługa bardzo pomocna. Hotel sam w sobie raczej jest z gatunku tanich noclegów więc nie należy się spodziewać jakiś wodotrysków ale stosunek ceny do jakości jest w porządku. Pokoje schludne. Łazienka widać że dawno nie remontowana ale nie jest źle. Dobrze wygluszone pokoje. Na miejscu możliwość dopłaty 6,50 euro za śniadanie które podawane jest do stolika. W skład wchodzi pół bagietki, ciasto francuskie z owocem i croissant. Do tego masło i dżem oraz kawa. Da się tym pożywić przed zwiedzaniem. Ogólnie poleca"

"I had a wonderful stay at Stabu Sēta Residence. The staff were exceptionally polite, helpful and genuinely friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The rooms come in various sizes, and some even include a bathtub — if you prefer having one, it’s best to request it during booking along with any other special preferences. Breakfast was excellent, offering a generous buffet selection with porridge, hot options like scrambled eggs, and lovely coffee. I also appreciated that lactose-free milk was available. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful, and with the reception open 24/7, everything feels easy and relaxed. The location is fantastic — plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance — and the spa area with a sauna and jacuzzi is a great place to chill and unwind. The ladies at reception were especially friendly and made me feel at ease right away. You can even purchase alcohol at the hotel and take it up to your room, and the small fridge provided is very convenient. Overall, it was a great stay, and I will definitely be coming back!"

Naughty Squirrel Backpackers Hostel

"I stayed in a private room for two nights. While the cleanliness was acceptable, the room had a very strong, unpleasant odor. However, the biggest issue was the hostel's official Pub Crawl on Friday, August 28. The event was poorly managed from the start, with an extreme gender imbalance (roughly 50 men to 5 women). The guides quickly lost control of the group, leading us to a venue that turned our entire group away at the door before taking us to a low-energy backup venue. When I left polite feedback in the group chat about poor organization, staff publicly responded with "s*cks to s*ck" and removed me from the group when I calmly reiterated my point. A staff member then messaged me privately saying "it's just funny," and that they only accept "good vibes”. Extremely unprofessional experience and poor customer service. I would not recommend staying here."
