Holiday Inn Club Vacations Oak N' Spruce Resort ★★★

"Website clearly states "No Pets" , upon checkin we see several people walking their dogs on the grounds. So much for that policy. I have allergies to dogs and can only hope that a dog was not previously in the unit we rented. Overall clean, but the black mold around the shower head and around the top of the shower in unit 848 was a bit concerning. Was quite surprised when getting hit with a $27.92 charge for "Resort Fees" otherwise known as "Junk Fees" upon check-out. Was not informed of any additional fees upon check-in. Office manager was unmoving on this. This has been reported to the Massachusetts Attorney General."

Econo Lodge Lee - Great Barrington ★★

"This place hasn't had maintenance at all. The bathroom is disappointing; door doesn't close well, walls are dirty and have holes, the bathtub was dirty and stained, the curtain, that apparently used to be white, is now yellow and had a big hole and the toilet seat kept sliding. Old , yellowish and stinky towels. Gave us short supplies, had to ask for more. In conclusion, I don't recommend this place at all. Go somewhere else"

Chambery Inn ★★★

"Excellent all around. We stayed in the L’Aubusson room, one of at least two rooms which were converted from 19th century schoolrooms. It was spacious, charming and had a special sense of place with the chalkboard running one side of the room and a large roll-up desk on the other. The inn is run smartly with unobtrusive service that is right there when you need it, but otherwise out of sight. Location was central to cultural activities, close to Lenox and an easy twenty minute drive to Stockbridge or Great Barrington. The Main Street of Lee is itself a treasure."

Quality Inn ★★

"The hotel is quite old, the room facilities are outdated, and the cleanliness is average. The breakfast is also average, but it's considered relatively good for this small town, especially since we came during peak season and all the rooms were full. After checking in, we found that one bed's bedding wasn't made. The receptionist came several times to get the bedding, and then we had to make the bed ourselves. There's nothing we could do since there's no housekeeping staff on duty at night."

"We always look forward to staying here as it’s such a wonderful place with amazing people and food. The elegance and charm shine through in everything and it’s such a beautiful experience. This was our 3rd stay in 18 months and as we live in England, it’s testament to how much we love coming and enjoying all the Devonfield has to offer. We like to stay in Jennifer Petite as it has the most amazing shower room. One of my favourite things in the morning is the wonderful aroma of breakfast enticing you to get up and enjoy, which you most certainly will. Thanks Doug and Jim for another wonderful stay xx"
