"This hotel is rubbish. The service is absolutely hopeless. The staff don't care. No manners. They are all about money and have no interest in ensuring that the customer is comfortable. We made it clear we do not want rooms with cigarette smoke smell. They took us to 3 rooms that were not smoke free. My son and I are allergic to smoke. When we kept complaining, they made it seem like we were fussy customers. The food was crap. We ordered fried chicken. It was so dry and rubbery and tasteless. I DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. You can hear what's going on next door. Late at night we could hear their conversation. I checked out the next day cos I could not stand the thought of being in that space another day. Horrible experience. "

"Let me start by saying that the service was great despite the fact that the premises need some major work as the finishing details are totally missing from the moment you walk through the door, to the rooms, to looking at the walls and ceilings throughout the property. You can see the vision and effort made to get there but it is immensely lacking. I had issues with the AC which was remedied by moving me to another room. The internet connection was very unstable. There were 2 roaches in my room (one of the dining table and the other between the closet and the coffee shelf) which shows that the room cleaning is not properly done and I am not even sure if they actually wash down the shower door, walls and floors. Some of the furniture and bathroom mirrors were rusty and dirty. The toilet paper hanger was dirty as well, just out right nasty. To close, the Art Hotel is definitely not a 5-star hotel AND does not compare to the level and standing of the Lagos Marriott Ikeja, AT ALL! if you are looking for close to 5-star, clean, top notch service, I recommend the Marriott Ikeja."

"Four Points is a good hotel and location for a business trip, and it met my expectations. Internet stability and connectivity in my room was good enough for basic use and calls, but I was involved in some more intensive work during my trip and found I could not access functions which required more bandwidth as easily as I would have liked. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, although the shower wasn't always hot in the morning. Staff were excellent, and very helpful, although the ATM machine was not reliable and had run out of cash when I needed to pay for a cab. Overall, it's a dependable and pleasant hotel and I'd be happy to stay there again."

"Usually I do not stay in an established brand hotel. The hotel offered us a corporate rate and we really enjoyed the stay. The room is great. The refurbished Italian restaurant serves yummy and large portion dishes. I wish the coffee and buffet menu could taste better but they are ok. The shower water temperature and pressure are great. You can hear sound from neighbor rooms but they did not bother too much. I will definitely come back."
