"This review is long overdo. To begin we must thank Gilly Frankel. She, more than anyone at the hotel, saw to our pleasant and enjoyable experience. Gilly was involved while we were still in the United States, communicating with care, concern and professionalism. Some details bear mention. When we arrived at the hotel, Gilly made herself available for anything and everything we needed. From places to go, to the few overlooked details by others at the hotel, we knew we could count on Gilly. Being that the war was still ongoing, its effect was painfully felt by the fewer numbers of tourists all throughout the city. Our weekend Shabbat was wonderful. One of the front desk members dropped the ball on the last morning of our visit, forgetting to leave us breakfast packages to bring with us to the plane, leaving us without food for our journey back home. Disappointing for a hotel of this calibre. But the visage of Gilly lingers and we are deeply grateful for the kindness and professionalism she extended. Ask for her when you visit the WA Jerusalem. It will make your special occasion in a wonderful hotel more special."

"Be careful. Stay away from this hotel. Parking is an issue here… but promises that cannot kept and rude security personnel is too much… They have service and help via the phone. But, they are not in the hotel and cannot help… Beside - dirty rooms and overall bad experience."

"This hotel literally ticked every box. Very nice friendly staff, the most superb location walking distance to the Shuk. Very close to Mamila mall lots of food outlets and the magnificent old city. Your position couldn’t be better. The hotel rooms are very comfortable with great amenities the rooms were well cleaned. Breakfast was quaint and tasty with eggs on order and lots of choices. The rooftop pool is very cooI I can’t find a fault here. Had a magic stay and would I be back, without a doubt."

"The room's air-condition wasnt powerful enough to cool the room. The twin bed is medium size, not wide enough. The foldable sofa did not open properly and we found ourselves at 1:00am looking for another sofa and/or mattress in the housekeeping room. The breakfast was below medium. Many items weren't tasty at all, the tables were dirty despite the hard work of the waitress. The -2 floor had a terrible smell of dirty toilets Overall our experience was between medium and poor "

"I want to share the wonderful experience we had when we stayed at the new Theatron Hotel in Jerusalem. We heard about the hotel from our friends. The new and charming boutique hotel is in the Talbieh neighborhood, and was built in a classical modern style. The staff were kind and it was clear that customer service was very important to them. They went out of their way to ensure our enjoyment and comfort. The room design is very classic with a large, comfortable and luxurious double bed, and quality bedding. Everything is very clean and they have great attention to detail. The hotel has an indoor heated pool, a lobby bar and a restaurant. Breakfast is an impressive varied buffet and it was delicious. We really enjoyed the pampering Clarins spa and pool. We were very impressed with the relaxing massage. The hotel has an adjacent and convenient parking lot. Without a doubt we will return and recommend this hotel to our friends."

"I did not even stay here. I was actually staying at another hotel. I was trying to get a meal for Shabbos day. Unfortunately, every hotel in the main Jerusalem area was booked, including the King David. What was different about the King David was their concierge manager Jeremy Weiss. At every other hotel, they just said sorry we’re booked but Jeremy spent the entire morning calling different hotels on our behalf, even though we were not even staying at the hotel. He was able to get us a reservation at another hotel that was fantastic even though they initially told him that they were booked as well. He really went above and beyond anything I’ve ever seen."

"It’s a modern and very sleek beautiful hotel. The employees are nice and helpful. However, the spa and gym are out of the hotel. You need to cross a bridge over the Mamilla Mall to get there but entering back, you need to ring the intercoms. The spa is very good, they give 10% off to hotel guest and the prices are very good once you convert it to dollars. The breakfast is a big buffet and is included in the stay. Overall, I would give the hotel a 4.8 star rating. We had a beautiful view of the old city. The hotel is located in the center of Jerusalem so you can get to places easily."

"Excellent customer service and very clean hotel. The breakfast was excellent and good range of hours for breakfast. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. At the end of my visit they ordered a taxi and the driver was very professional and friendly. I would stay here again. Thank you!"

"From arriving to departure my stay here was everything I could have wanted. The room, although basic, was more then adequate for my needs during my trip to Jerusalem. The breakfast was plenty-full and consisted of good local ingredients that set me up for the day. The old town is 10 minutes walk on way and the new town 15 mins in the opposite direction, so close to all amenities. If you want a peaceful place to enjoy your trip to Jerusalem this is it!"
