"We did not stay at the Notre Dame Guest House; however, we attended mass there and ate at the rooftop restaurant twice during our five-day stay in Jerusalem. We met a friendly priest at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher who told us about the Notre Dame Guest House. It was a Sunday evening, and we were looking for a mass. He recommended Notre Dame. We attended a beautiful service and then explored the facility. We returned the following night for dinner, saw our priest friend again, took photos of his group on the rooftop, and joined them for mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher the following days. We looked at brochures showing us the rooms at the Notre Dame Guest House, which looked lovely. The grounds are beautiful, the staff friendly, and it has two restaurants, a coffee shop, and a chapel where they say mass. It's perfect. Additionally, it's across the street from the New Gate into Old Jerusalem. It's a great location. "

"Very nice hotel, room was ready 2 hours after the official check in. The room is small without closet. No hair dryer. Hot drinks in the lobby. Huge Jacuzzi and very hot water. View is in front of residence and people can see you. Because the glass of the balcony is transparent . The shower tall is transparent but with curtain, I liked it (: The room was great, it’s for couples only"

Great breakfast buffet. Much less expensive than the big tourist hotels, but far superior than the budget hotels - in my opinion this is the best value hotel in Jerusalem."

"The hotel is small, but very convenient both in location and in terms of accommodations. It's four stops from Jerusalem Train Station on bus #18. The Old City is a 7-10-minute walk away, and Jaffa Street with its cafes and shops is a minute away. The rooms are small, and some even offer capsules, but we had a triple room with a bunk bed. The downstairs bed wasn't really a bed—it was a fold-out sofa that had seen better days. In front of it was a large TV with YouTube. We watched it lying down, without folding the sofa, because we were afraid we wouldn't be able to unfold it for sleeping. Since the hotel is located in the basement, our window was small and dirty, purely for ventilation. The room has air conditioning, a small refrigerator, a fan, a TV, another sofa, a low table, a bathroom with a shower, and several lighting options. Water from the shower leaks heavily onto the bathroom floor, so be careful! There's no closet, just a coat rack, so it's difficult to organize your things, but we managed. The hotel has a kitchen with a microwave, stove, hot and cold water dispenser, tables, and chairs—a bit cramped, but comfortable. There's a gym downstairs. There's also a small outdoor area with tables and chairs. It's cozy, with lots of modern art. Towels are exchanged upon request. Recommended for travelers who prefer the outdoors to the inside."
