"Last minute booking for ANZ day weekend, easy booking with Trip.com. Very good location, right next to the Canyon walking trail, 10 to 15 minutes nice scenery walk next to Ovens river, then will reach to the big play ground and shops. The hotel room is as described,has all the necessary items, clean but needs a little bit organization so all the furniture can look more tidy and in easy reach. Nice autumn leave views in the front of hotel and garden. Hotels grounds could do with more attention. Receptionist is very nice and helpful. Overall, value for money."

"Exceeded expectations! Had a wonderful two night stay, very private accommodation on acreage, very spead out and secluded, just ourselves and the kangaroos. Stunning views and everything we should want in outstudio treehouse. Attention to detail by the owners and lots of special touches from local suppliers. Loved the bread and jams for breakfast. Ordered cheese platter for our arrival, amazing, highly recommend! Comfy bed,crisp linen, excellent pillows. Topped off with wood fire for extra cosiness. Ideal for us and our ebikes!"

"Three star accommodation with ten star experience! From our first interaction with Erin til we left, our stay was exactly what we were looking for: peaceful, newly renovated self contained studio apartment, with full kitchen facilities, right on the river bank, birdlife, comfy bed, good quality bed linen, towels etc… and the list goes on!!! Highly recommend Room 10 (Platypus) for a quiet break “ between seasons” . I guess it is very popular and much more energetic in peak season, but in late August the weather was mild and there were few neighbours!"

"Great stay for 3 night. Warm fire, cozy lounge, good room, and it was like the snow was ordered for us! Staff member Maya is a honey, friendly, polite, helpful and is a model staff member. Meals are good, definitely recommend the Beef Cheek! Mulled wine is a winner on those chilly days!"

"Initially favourable, although sites were very small. My 6 m campervan overlapped site behind me. However, a very loud, intoxicated and potentially violent group directly across from me and neighbouring friends ruined the experience. Camp management was not receptive when some of our group complained the next morning, saying they could not act on "word of mouth". One of the emergency phone numbers provided was inactive and late at night with a potentially dangerous situation none of us solo ladies felt like walking over to the office to look at the window for futher information. Group eventually settled at 11 pm but we decided to leave. Not a place I will visit again or recommend."

"Arrived at the Park and was greeted by Narelle one of the Managers. Was very professional , helpful and had a great sense of humour. Felt very welcomed, Narelle would stop and say hello also made sure all was ok with accommodation etc. Gave us great info about the area to what we could go and do or eat. Loved the lawns that were kept nice down near the creek, camp kitchen was great too. Walking track into porepunkah to the eateries etc. Have booked again! "Stayed here with family for a couple of nights. Place was very clean, and comfortable. There are 8 units, with 4 down the side and 4 at the back. You can access the Ovens river a further 400 MTRS down at the rear of the property. Beds were comfortable. The only issue was the key code access. You need to remember a 5 digit code to enter the room. So while the pros are you cannot lose your key, all guests need to remember the code and then how to enter it. If you are short sighted there are problems. If the sun is shining directly on the digital keypad there are problems. The system does allow for a key and a swipe card. I would be dumping the code and going back to the good old key. Otherwise an excellent stay. Only 5 KMs from Bright."
