"We stayed at this hotel while doing macro diving in Lembeh. Advantages: The partner dive shop in Cocotinos is Odyssea Divers, and the dive guides are excellent. The rooms were very clean. The water pressure and temperature were fantastic. The hotel view was quite beautiful. Disadvantages: We stayed in room 10, which had floor-to-ceiling windows facing a main road, making it extremely noisy. Out of six nights we stayed, there was disco music across the street three nights, burning trash outside the door one night, and the rest of the time there was constant motorcycle engine noise. The room door faced the front desk, so we could hear all the conversations at the front desk every day. The soundproofing was really bad. If you book this hotel, it's best to communicate in advance to avoid room 10. The food wasn't great. We ate too much the first morning and had to rest all day. Then, starting on Friday, they kept telling us that this and that was unavailable, but we could only go shopping the following Tuesday. By Sunday, they showed us a long list of ingredients that were completely unavailable, and by Monday, only a few dishes were left to order. We had to wait a long time for meals, but the food wasn't very hot when it arrived; I don't know what they were doing. It's annoying to have to reconnect to Wi-Fi more than ten times a day."

"K2 was such a highlight of my travels through Indonesia! They were so friendly and accommodating. Right from the start, my flight was delayed and I worried I wouldn’t be able to meet the arranged transport, but they picked me up and delivered me to the resort at 1 in the morning! There was even a sandwich waiting in my room for me. From there on out, I was taken care of, from the delicious meals to the dive guides finding my favorite creatures. I was even able to borrow a camera to capture all of the tiny sea life and now I’m hooked on macro! I cannot recommend K2 enough, and I can’t wait to come back!"

"Many guests just came for 1 or 2 nights, some even arrived late at night after a long day of traveling - but that is really a pity as this place is so relaxing, wonderful and special! Try to spend at least 3-4 days here and you won't regret it! For us, the 4-night-stay marked the end of our 3,5 week trip throughout Sulawesi and we could not have ended it better! Ana, the host and manager really knows how to make you feel welcome, she is always available, speaks excellent English and has a great attention to detail! As most reviews say, the food is delicious and the best part is that it is really "tailormade" to your wishes and preferences. Our son is a bit of a picky eater, and Ana and her team always managed to accommodate our suggestions or came up with great proposals. Of course we also came for the jungle walks and did the morning safari as well as the afternoon trip and were so lucky to see many beautiful animals, of course mostly thanks to the Villa's private guide Sakar who spotted them all. But the area also has some nice surroundings and beautiful beaches to offer if you are prepared to drive 30-60 minutes (motorbike or car). During our stay in July during weekdays, most beaches were quite empty and very clean! We did not make any trips to Bitung or Lembeh, but that is another option to spend your time. The journey to Manado airport took around 90 minutes by car (friendly driver arranged by Ana, of course). Thank you so much, we want to come back!!! "

"The room was generally clean, the bathroom had a slight odor, but it disappeared once the door was closed. Washing toiletries was convenient with plenty of hot water. The hotel has a view of the island's volcano and is conveniently located for diving in Lembeh."

"Friendly and competent staff, beautiful rooms in a quiet location on the beach overlooking Lembeh Island made my stay a real pleasure. Add to this the great dive team and AMAZING muck diving (pygmy seahorses, pegasus mothfish, so many devil fish, seas snakes, garden eels and sooo much more) and you have a great place to spend time! Shout out to my diving guide Harvey who is incredibly knowledgeable, and the team 😀 Unforgettable!"

"Very cute bungalow about 1 km from the entrance of the park. The AC was very welcome after a hot humid trek through the park. Food is included in the rates and good with generous portions. They will accommodate birders with very early 5am breakfast. Wifi was weak but a bit better if I left the door open. I was there for birding and asked them to find a guide with good knowledge of birds. They booked Stefan Bee and he was awesome! Eagle eyes, spotting birds that were well camouflaged and he knew all the bird calls as well. Very nice guy too, speaks English well. We also saw tarsiers, macaques and cuscus. Dedicated birders should also go to Tembuan Hill for different species that are in the park."

"We had three nights here in order to try and see as much wildlife as possible. And we weren't disappointed. Ana was a magnificent host and very accommodating regarding the picky eater writing this review. All the food was excellent and the staff very welcoming. It's a bit of a hike from the garden rooms up 70+ steps but not too difficult really. Room was large and very comfortable. Very close to the National Park."
