"Standard motel, with average facilities and cleanliness. You can park right in front of your room. The room has a balcony facing the road and the sea, offering an expansive view. The town is small and quiet, and the hotel is within walking distance of attractions. However, it's best to book restaurants in advance, as they might be closed if you go late. Drinking water isn't provided, and when I tried to buy some after 9 PM, I couldn't find any open shops in town. If you want to see penguins, it's best to join a tour; it's hard to find them on your own. But the sunset near Lobster Shack is truly beautiful!"

"Spacious cottage, beautiful beds. However, the wifi is so poor from Redbill cottage that we cannot connect to internet. Telstra connection is very poor and intermittent. Hence, we have no internet connection during our stay at the hotel. The swim pool was not made available to use. Free laundry is much appreciated."

"We had an exceptional stay at Sandpiper Cottages. We were grateful for the spaciousness, comfort and peace of our two bedroom cottage. One of us was most unwell, and we couldn't have been in a better place to begin to recover. The Cottage was equipped with EVERYTHING! So much thought has gone into providing thoughtful extras, including a quality welcome hamper. Similarly, there is equipment to make you comfortable at the beach. And what a beach! Pristine white sand and turquoise sea. I had it to myself on a warm, sunny September afternoon. What a find!"

"The evening penguin viewing tour was fantastic! We saw three little blue penguins, and the staff were incredibly enthusiastic and dedicated. The real highlight was exploring Diamond Island at low tide in the morning. The only downside was that the room didn't have an oven."
