Great experience overall, and I would definitely come back."

The shampoo and conditioner provided were also very good, which was a nice bonus. The only downside was the smell from the shower drain—it became unpleasant after using the shower. However, aside from that issue, everything else was great. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would recommend this place."

"• Check-in issue: We arrived in the morning and hoped to check in quickly, but the hotel kept saying there were no rooms. In the end, we could only check in at 1:30 p.m., and the front desk required us to register as members to check in early. If that’s the case, why didn’t they tell us this earlier in the morning? • Broken safe: The safe in our room didn’t work. We asked the front desk to send someone to fix it; the technician came, looked briefly, told us to wait, and never returned. The safe remained unusable for the rest of our stay. We noticed it was just a dead battery, but they couldn’t even manage a simple battery replacement. • Shower drainage: When showering, water overflowed to the area near the toilet. The drainage is poorly designed."

However, compared to last year, both the service and cleanliness have declined, with many details not being handled properly. Overall, the convenience for getting around is still there. I hope the hotel can strengthen its management and restore the service and cleanliness standards. I look forward to an improved experience on my next stay."

"The location is great. The room is a bit old now, and the bathroom is small, but it doesn't really affect the overall experience. Breakfast is included. While it's the same every day and I got tired of it after a couple of days, it's still convenient to grab a coffee, some fruit, and yogurt. Sunbathing on the balcony was very relaxing~"

Helped with an excellent local dinner reservation. Room was very nice, big double plus very comfy sofa bed for the kids. Has the welcoming personal touch that larger hotels can't offer. Highly recommended."

They went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay in Barcelona, gave us many tips about getting around the city easily and gave us cool addresses for local food. They offered a choice of breakfasts that we really enjoyed. Their place is beautiful, spacious, superbly located, an easy walk to the Gracia neighborhood and the old city. They have an beautiful outdoor patio with comfortable furniture to lounge that looks out over Carrer de Muntaner - it’s really a unique and privileged experience. I can’t recommend La Casa Gran enough, it was one of our best finds 👍"
