"This hotel is a 3-5 minute drive from downtown. An Uber ride downtown costs approximately $10 (whether for day trip pick-up or to the Denali/Sward bus/train station). From the various bus departure points for Denali/Sward, it's at least a 5-8 minute walk to nearby hotels rated 3.6 or higher, costing $300-$500 per night during peak season (July-August) (excluding breakfast and airport/train station transfers). If you check out before 6:00 AM, you'll be offered takeaway bread and coffee by 3:00 AM – very thoughtful. Rooms: Refrigerator, microwave, bathroom, coffee maker. Environment: A typical two-story motel from an American movie, with about 20 rooms arranged in a U-shape. The hotel reception, lobby, and restaurant are shared by one room. If arriving at night: A. Leaving the next morning or taking a day trip, the purpose is only one night's stay. B. Not looking for traditional hotel facilities, limited budget. This hotel offers the best value for money. We read many reviews before booking and had expectations for the rooms, shuttle service, and environment. Upon arrival, we didn't have an overreaction, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The two elderly couples responsible for the shuttle service were very honest and helpful, taking guests to the airport or bus station at 4 AM. This hotel's shuttle service isn't a scheduled service from a large chain hotel; providing 24-hour service shows commendable hospitality. If the hotel's already high-value room rate is increased by $10-15, and there's a downtown shuttle service available when going to the airport, it's advisable to prioritize airport guests and call an Uber for the downtown guests. Guests with high expectations for the shuttle service might feel neglected and generalize, negatively impacting the hotel's overall service. If hotels have 1-2 hairdryers or room air fresheners on hand at the front desk as emergency measures, they can also avoid emotional fluctuations for guests with high expectations."
