Princessa Vera Hotel Apartments

Fantastic from start to finish! I used trip advisor before booking a package deal with TUI for a weeks stay here and was not disappointed. From the lovely reception area, spotlessly clean bar, pool, restaurant and walkways to the cleanliness of the rooms, everything was just perfect. We stayed in room 325 which had a lovely pool and sea view. Rooms were cleaned every day but such lovely staff. Breakfast was included and we enjoyed it every day. The location is absolutely spot on, such a lovely walk to the harbour along the coastal path and for the most amazing beach head to Venus beach, outstanding. Thank you so much for an incredible week, I 100% recommend staying here and would (probably will) return. Big should out to Chris who works in Harley’s bar, he is fantastic and such a sweet guy.

Can’t fault this hotel - staff really friendly, rooms and communal places very clean and the food is excellent. Really easy to get to Coral Bay which is fantastic and also about a 20 minute walk to the harbour. Lots of historic artefacts to see in Paphos for the history lover. For evening entertainment try Monara, out of the front door of the hotel over the road to the right - class acts and good staff. Would definitely stay again !

Fabulously friendly hotel with extremely friendly staff throughout the complex, Check in was exceptionally smooth on arrival very welcoming & polite staff. Beautiful reception area with luxury sofas Room was really clean and spacious and very comfortable. And cleaned daily Great range of food on menu, with a very substantial breakfast range, which was very efficiently carried out and well organised at busy times, Well located for shops bars & restaurants, Beach is a 10 minute walk, The harbour is only 25 minute walk away where by you have a great choice of bars & restaurants Will Definately be visiting again next year

Another lovely visit to this hotel where the staff are always so friendly and helpful, the rooms are spotless and kept that way by the hardworking cleaning ladies 10 out of 10 to them. We had a well situated room this time with a view of the pool and a partial view of the sea. The fridge, kettle and microwave were a welcome addition and were well used. We were there bed and breakfast so can’t comment on the lunch and evening meals but the breakfast wasn’t the best, the cornflakes were awful with some kind of waxy coating the toast took forever to brown and the sausages were not for me, but I was happy to have fresh fruit, yogurt and some really nice pastries or croissants the coffee was nice too. Outside by the pool there are plenty of sun-beds, although not the most comfortable at least they were clean. Coffee at the pool bar was €4 for half a cup it was the most expensive coffee we’d had all week. The pros definitely out weigh the cons at this hotel and we’ll definitely be back

I've just returned from 7 beautiful nights at this hotel. The room was a good size with 2 single beds provided and very easy to combine into a double. The beds were firm and comfortable with 1 pillow per bed and a spare pillow in the wardrobe. The room came with a fridge (a blessing with the weather), a microwave and an assortment of Kitchen utilities, making it easy to buy supplies from the local supermarket if you wanted to save a little money. The room had full Aircon that kept the room nice and chilled and a refreshing break from the scorching heat. It was spotless in the cleaning department with a daily housekeeper keeping it that way and replacing any used towels and replacing all the bins with fresh bags (which is essential in my opinion since you can't flush toilet paper down the toilet). The bathroom was a decent size with a big sink and mirror and a shower/bath. 3 medium size towels and a small foot towel are provided but no plug was provided for the bath but a simple request to the housekeeper and I was provided one. The balcony for my room was facing the street, which I was happy with, I liked the view and I liked the size of the balcony. The noise wasn't too bad for me and the sun rose hitting my balcony in the early morning, which was a fantastic way to wake up. The hotel comes with 2 pools on the smaller size to bigger hotels but I knew that going in and I was very happy with both the pools. They were clean with big stairs making it easy to access the pools. They do have rules like no jumping and diving and they provide a full time lifeguard who enforced these rules while also making sure people were kept safe while the pool was open (10am - 6pm). They also have a smaller pool for children, which worked out great for my niece, letting her get used to the pool before taking her to the bigger pools. The staff are very friendly but not overbearing and they did a great job of keeping the whole hotel clean and welcoming and a pleasant place to be. I would happily choose this hotel if I ever return to Cyprus.

Princess vera, well what can I say! We book a large studio and we were allocated room 434 in the chalet type at the back of the main building up a set of what can only describe as lethal spiral steps not easy to negotiate with heavy suitcases, as we are not as mobile as we once were we asked to be moved but after going back and forth several times to reception decided to make do and mend, also balcony looked on to one tiny corner of the pool, brick wall and building site across the road. On the positive the room was clean and beds comfy and I cannot fault the staff who were great. If you have mobility problems beware the lift only serves the main building, had we known that we would have requested on booking for a suitable room.
