We booked a Family 4-person Suite of a size 65-68 sqm for 6 nights on the 4 to 10 April 2025. Unfortunately upon checkin into the room, we are only given a much smaller room (rough estimate of about 40-45 sqm) and we were told blatantly (lied) by Johnny (front desk staff) that it is a Family Suite. A room size difference of 20 sqm less is easily detected and in our opinion the room that they tried to offer us initially could have been the 4-person Family Room instead. After a hard exchanged, when I called for the manager in charge, he admitted that the room we booked was occupied and we can only transfer the next day. Meanwhile, he countered a 2 Friendly-child Triple Room for a night and we have to split ourselves to 2 separate places. On the next day, they moved us to the supposedly larger Family Suite, again we are convinced that the room size is not 65-68 sqm. It do not have 2 bathrooms, no lounge chairs, no tea table, no welcome gifts and not to mention butler service. Also for the first 4 days breakfast, there was no fresh brewed coffee except instant 3 in 1 coffee at the breakfast buffet. Frankly, we felt cheated for the whole 6 nights we stayed there but we left with no choice as we wanted to move forward with our travels. Trip.com should know about this as it left a bad taste. The hotel should be dealt with for not delivering as promised.
