During our recent trip to Italy, this hotel was unfortunately the most disappointing experience we encountered. We would not recommend it—especially for Asian travelers or, frankly, for anyone who has other accommodation options available.
From the moment we arrived, we felt the service was lacking and unequally delivered. Despite following all procedures, we observed instances where our presence was disregarded while others were served out of turn. The overall impression was that we had to ask repeatedly—or even plead—to receive basic service, which was both uncomfortable and disheartening.
The building itself is visibly aged and poorly maintained, but the service was far more concerning than the condition of the property.
Although the hotel required us to choose a strict 30-minute breakfast time slot in advance, when we arrived, no seating was available for us. There was no proper system to check who had breakfast included, and we witnessed guests who we know have no breakfast entitlements occupying tables and helping themselves to food and drinks. One particularly disrespectful guest even cut in line and took our coffee, right in front of the staff—who did nothing to intervene.
We paid approximately €110 per night, including city tax, which—considering the level of service—was regrettable and by far the worst value of our entire Italy trip.
In summary, we do not recommend this hotel to Asian travelers, or to anyone who values fair treatment, organization, and basic hospitality. If other options are available, we suggest choosing elsewhere for a more welcoming and respectful stay.
