2 visits in 2 months - warm welcome, great food and drink (beers and wine list). Busy pub with locals (love Mavis the spaniel) and visitors. Every table was taken on a Wednesday night - not many pubs in the area would be able to say the same so this is a huge indicator of it's popularity. Lovely seating area in front of the wood burner. I really like the fact the business owner welcomes you and helps the waitressing staff with service/clearing away.

We had a group booking and meal, a fantastic evening, everything was top class and the food, drinks the staff couldn’t be faulted. A particular highlight was the cocktail menu and service/bar staff! Would highly recommend the White Hart and I’m looking forward to taking my wife on our anniversary later this year.

I organised an evening dinner for 22 people. We went a few weeks beforehand to work out a set menu with 3 choices of starters, mains and pudding, plus canapés and drinks. I liaised with staff at the pub and got everyone's pre-order to them on time, which felt relaxed and not frantic, like how it's sometimes felt elsewhere in the past. We were warmly welcomed on the night and everyone was given a welcome glass of Prosecco. The canapés were absolutely divine, plentiful and very tasty. I had pan seared scallops with pancetta for my starter and my husband had the prawn cocktail. I then had sea bass, which was very fresh and cooked to perfection. Extremely tasty. My husband had beef, I think, which was done beautifully. Everyone at the dinner, without exception, said how great the night was, from the seamless service to the fantastic food and the ending of Espresso Martinis! We will definitely be booking again for next year. In fact, I have already booked to take my mother for Mothering Sunday this week. The pub itself has been beautifully renovated with no expense spared. One definitely added to the list of preferred places to go around here!

Such a lovely Sunday meal for my father in laws 80th. Really tasty food, excellent service and very friendly staff. We will definitely return to try the al la carte, can't believe we've never been here before and it's on our door step. Well worth a visit, delicious! The only thing I'd say is they could see it was my father in laws 80th and nothing was said or any little touches on desserts for example which I know other places do, this is just a minor thing anyway.

We are regulars here but today was off the scale top class!!Why? There is a new chef in-situ and by god can he cook a joint of beef - melt in the mouth perfection and that’s saying something from the Queen of Sunday Roasts I would not hesitate in recommending this place for Sunday lunch. I just hope he stays and the pub and staff don’t become complacent Great Job White Hart Ufford

We didn’t stay here as we live locally, but the food and service at The White Hart are absolutely fantastic. Without a doubt I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for food. Head chef Ben and assistant Cornelio clearly have a lot of experience in high end restaurants and the results speak for themselves. Definitely the finest gourmet pub for miles.
