"I’ve been to many hostels, but this is definitely one of the best I’ve stayed in. One of the biggest plus points for me is the location — it’s only about a 2-minute walk to Ximending, which is super convenient. When I arrived, everything was clean and modern. What really makes me happy in a hostel is cleanliness, and this place definitely delivers. And the TOWELS — that’s everything to me! The staff are also very nice, friendly, and speak English, which makes everything so much easier. The rooms are fully air-conditioned even when it’s already 17°C outside. Another amazing bonus: free laundry! Honestly, that’s such a big deal when traveling. What I appreciated the most was how kind and accommodating the staff were. My checkout was on March 7 at 11 AM, but my flight was at 12 AM the next morning (March 8). They kindly allowed me to leave my things and stay around the hostel while I explored Taipei for the day. When I came back before heading to the airport, they even let me take a shower before my flight. That kind of hospitality really means a lot to travelers. This is probably one of my favorite hostels now, and I can’t wait to come back!"

"The hotel is right in front of the Taipei Main Station, which is connected to Red and Blue metro line and along with the HSR and Airport Express Line. Hotel is okay, only had 1 floor with all the rooms and lobby, the elevator just slow since if has mulitple hotels within the building. The toilet in our room is kind of see through, but if you don't mind this everything is ok."

"I had a wonderful stay at The Riviera Hotel Taipei. The location is perfect—close to local dining, temples, parks, and shopping. Catching an Uber from here is very convenient. The room was clean and fully equipped (iron, kettle, hair dryer). The bathroom was amazing, featuring a shower with perfect pressure and a comfortable heated automatic toilet. Breakfast was delicious and diverse; I stayed for 5 days and enjoyed every meal. The staff, from the waiters to the receptionists, were professional and efficient. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return!"

"Conveniently located in Zhongshan area, good service from the reception counter, and they have an area for free snacks and drinks. "Overall, our stay was quite good. The room itself was very spacious, and the cleaning ladies did a fabulous job with keeping it tidy. The staff was friendly and professional, and the amenities were quite nice. While we didn't swim in the pool itself, we hung out in the outside area and found it quite lovely. There was a wedding held on site, which made it pretty cute to see! We got no noise from the wedding in our room as well. Breakfast was fine, solid standard fare. Location is quite good."

"I had a pleasant stay at Ilume Hotel Taipei. The hotel offers a nice city view and is very conveniently located, with easy access to public transportation. There are also plenty of convenience stores and dining options nearby, which made everything very convenient during our stay. The room we stayed in was one of the refurbished rooms, and it was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Overall, the room quality was quite good and met our expectations. That said, the service could be improved slightly, as response time and attentiveness were sometimes a bit slow. Nevertheless, it did not significantly affect our overall experience. Overall, Ilume Hotel Taipei is a good choice for travelers looking for comfort, accessibility, and value for money. I would consider staying here again in the future."
