Artinn Hotel

Spacious room at a convenient location. Cleanliness is acceptable, though not especially impressive. As the room is windowed, the noise from the road traffic is quite intrusive.There also seems to be ongoing construction at the site, so scaffolding is right outside the window. Perhaps because I stayed at the weekend, there wasn't particular noise from the construction work.

The other reviews of this hotel prepared me: Unfortunately, carpeting across the hallways and the rooms can not be good for people with respiratory problems; much dust has accumulated on the floor and corners. A windowed room is a salvation, though I couldn’t open it. The beddings were very clean and soft. Good AC which has dehumidifying function. It might be a surprise for some to have toilets and shower as directly open facing the bedroom, but was not a problem with me. Generally okay as it’s 14min walk to Taipei Main Station and 14 min walk to Ximending. Ok value for money for a solo traveler who would prefer having own toilets. No breakfast option, but good food is sold in stalls and restaurants in the area. People should ask hotel if they can pick-up trash daily from the room because this is only upon request. No smoking area, so risk being caught smoking along the ground-level city street.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. The check-in and check-out process was smooth

I enjoyed our stay. Very near to MRT and other places. Very convenient. Didn’t expect that the bed is sooo big. Accommodating staffs. Will definitely book again!

At 1.30am, there was a black out at the hotel. Hotel never say anything so I had to go ask… they said might take 2 hours… fine… somehow they got the internal hotel aircon to work first… so we slept till 7.30am with no power, then I had to go down to ask again.. and the fella said… oh you need to take out the card for 2 mins and the power will come back…. No apology… no nothing.. wow.. that was like everyone knows that… So after going online and making noise at Trip.com, decided to look for another hotel cos this place is super dusty and it doesn’t help my eyes. Also the aircon filter fell off and made all kinds of weird noises because the air was blowing at it and it was bouncing….

The hotel is spacious nice and clean. They have to improve their customer service. Not friendly and seem reluctant when called to ask for some help. Overall ok.

The room is spacious enough, but I'm just skeptical about the open floor plan with a lavatory and just shower and toilet doors separating the "restroom" area to the bed space. The layouf gave it a more spacious feel, but it's just weird. Shower - no hot water option, or maybe there's something wrong with the water distribution but it was freezing cold. Just thought about it as something to wake me up. Room location - requested for a quiet room, but was assigned a room just 3 steps away from the laundry area and probably breaker/power room + fire exit and stairs. A feng shui nightmade if you ask me. Everything'z buzzing, other guests doing laundry were noisy past 11pm, and I get awaken every 2 hours. Didn't bother to ask for a different room already as I was just staying for 2 nights and it's exhausting. The hotel is safe, though. They lock the main entrance access and just use key card to have it opened. So that's a plus in security. Water - they don't have a water refilling station and it's just a pitcher that leaks. Would be nice to have a water dispenser instead.

⭐ 1/5 This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The room had a strong musty smell, visible mould, and dust everywhere. The air quality was so poor that I had to wear a mask inside the room. Shortly after entering the room, I started coughing, experiencing an itchy nose, and having a runny nose due to the dusty environment. The bedding and blankets were extremely old, worn out, and uncomfortable. The bed was itchy, and after sleeping on it, my 10-year-old child developed itchy skin rashes. What was even more disappointing was the hotel's response. I reported these issues to the reception, but they showed little concern and took no meaningful action to resolve the problem. Their lack of responsibility and customer care was unacceptable. Based on what I observed, this did not appear to be an isolated issue. The overall condition of the property suggested that many rooms may be maintained at a similarly poor standard. I have video evidence showing the dust, mould, and overall lack of cleanliness. The actual condition of the room was completely different from what was advertised online. Cleanliness and hygiene are basic expectations for any hotel, but this property failed to meet even the minimum standard. I am extremely dissatisfied with my stay and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. ⭐ 1/5 這是我住過最糟糕的飯店之一。 房間裡瀰漫著濃重的霉味，到處都是灰塵，牆面和角落還有明顯的發霉痕跡。空氣品質非常差，我甚至必須戴著口罩待在房間裡。入住後不久，我就開始咳嗽、鼻子發癢和流鼻水。 床單、棉被和寢具都非常老舊，看起來缺乏清潔與保養，使用起來令人不舒服。床鋪甚至讓人感到皮膚發癢。我10歲的孩子睡了一晚後，身上出現了疑似過敏的紅疹和搔癢症狀。 更令人失望的是，我向櫃檯反映這些問題後，飯店幾乎沒有任何積極處理或改善措施，缺乏應有的責任感與服務態度。 根據我所看到的情況，這似乎並非單一房間的問題，整體飯店的維護與清潔標準都令人擔憂，我懷疑許多房間可能都處於類似的狀況。 我已拍攝影片作為證據，清楚記錄房間內的灰塵、霉斑及整體環境狀況。實際房況與網站上的照片及描述有很大落差。 住宿最基本的要求就是乾淨與衛生，但這家飯店連最基本的標準都沒有達到。我對這次住宿感到非常失望，絕不會再次入住，也不推薦其他旅客選擇這家飯店。

The hotel condition is pretty bad. There are dust all over, mold on the wallpaper and aircon is either very warm or not cold. When check with reception, the staff have no solution and hang up the phone Location is about 10mins walk from Taipei main station through the shop houses and 10mins walk from NTU Hospital MRT. On the last day, we forgotten the umbrella at the lobby, went back to find it at the end of the day but it was missing. The staff took 2 of their umbrella to gave it to us, much appreciated.
