However, the furniture showed its age - the sofa and armchair had sunk so deep that getting up was difficult. The wardrobes were poorly designed with limited storage space. Breakfast was fairly standard hotel fare, nothing exceptional. The saving grace was the lovely staff. Good location but the suite needs furniture updates and better storage solutions."

"The first hotel in Sweden and one of the most comfortable hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel is opposite the old town, and many places can be reached almost on foot. The hotel as a whole is very beautiful. Whether it is the lobby, restaurant or rooms, they all reveal the inspiration of the designer and the seriousness of the manager. Pictures, books, furnishings and furniture are all very beautiful and exquisite. The beautiful and handsome man at the front desk was very enthusiastic. On the first day, I was received by a beautiful woman. The fatigue of the entire plane was dissolved in her smile. The breakfast was great, the bed in the room was very comfortable, everything was good!"

"Check-in was average. Room was allocated on a low floor + no views. Room was small but cozy. Had to open windows to let air in as the hotel had no AC, but loud motorcycle sounds can be heard and not sure about safety as it’s on the first floor. Room service and minibar were both exorbitant. The bed was unbearably soft. The bathroom also had unknown noises. The food was generally dissappointing. The service was cold with no greetings and porter assistance. When I left the porter did not help me with my bags."

"Ett hem was part of the reason that we came to Stockholm!! We were very excited to come stay here as we have heard such great things from friends. The whole concept is that it’s a home, and it really did feel like that! It felt as though we were staying at a friends home, where we can roam around all of the shared areas and spend time anywhere, in the living room, lounges, library, garden etc. The space was designed by a famous interior designer. Our room was an attic room that was quite beautiful. We also opted to have dinner at the house; the menu changes daily depending on what the chef orders in, and on our night it was delicious. We also used their spa room / sauna which was very enjoyable. My only comment is that while the staff were all very friendly and nice, they were not always available to be found. At times I would need something and go to the main check in counter and there wouldn’t be anyone there, and I would have to roam around the house looking for someone. Same goes for the entrance. You have to ring the bell every time you come back to Ett Hem and on a few occasions, no one answered the door bell or they answered but didn’t follow up / open the door / or come to get us. I understand it’s a part of the casual home feel, but for a luxury hotel I would have preferred a little more availability… Great stay overall though!!"

"A very good hotel overall, though the rooms are a bit dated. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the Central Station, but quite close to the pier. Definitely recommend it, especially for the price."

"The location is a bit remote, but it doesn't matter to me. The room is overall nice and tidy. The quilt is rather thin and narrow, and the air conditioner can only be set to a maximum of 24 degrees, which is not warm enough. The shower area is not enclosed, but it's fine if you're careful. By the way the exhaust fan in the toilet is very noisy and cannot be switched off! The service at the front desk is very considerate, and the lady there is very nice. It is worth noting that there was no kettle in the room, but the front desk was very helpful🥰"

"Stayed at Radisson Blu Royal Viking Hotel and really enjoyed the experience. Location wise, it’s superb — very convenient and close to everything in central Stockholm. I chose the Premium Room and it was very spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring the city. The breakfast was also great, with many delicious food options and everything tasted really good. Definitely a hotel I would stay at again when visiting Stockholm."
