ibis budget Singapore Ruby

I stayed at this hotel for 8 nights in March 2025. As a budget hotel, I wasn't expecting much but I was surprised that the room was cleaner and more modern then I thought. The bed was decent and I had a comfortable sleep and the bedding was also clean and decent. They provide you with a hair dryer and kettle and for each day, you get two sets of tea bags, coffee satchels, sugar packets and creamer. There is also a dental kit and body wash/shampoo provided. There is a TV but the channels are limited and it's low resolution. Be aware that the room is VERY small, there is just enough room to fit your suitcases and nothing more. The bathroom is also small and it's a wet bathroom menaing there is no separate shower area, only a curtain separating the shower area from the toilet and basin. The rooms are okay in terms of soundproofing but you may hear the noises from the other rooms and corridor. For the price, it think it was decent especially if you are just gonna be there too sleep and nothing else. The location is central in Geylang and many eateries around with some 24hrs. The nearest MRT is Aljunied but it's around a 15 minuteb walk. Tip: bring slippers because the bathroom floor will always be wet after you use the shower and it's easy to get the floor. Wet.

Very small rooms. Washroom smelly like sewage. Paints worn out. Bedsheets not changed upon room makeup sign. Only a shampoo n shower gel in one dispenser. No hand soap , no face towels no proper bath mats. And the location is disgusting. It's a redight area. The staff were friendly at reception no doubt about that and helpful but hotel management needs to to fo maintenance though it's a budget hotel but too costy according to service and room

The check in process was quick and efficient. The staff on duty were very friendly. The hotel location is easy to reach and close to MRT and Bus Stop. The room was clean and the facilities were adequate.
