Mercure Shanghai Yu Garden On the Bund

Excellent stay with caring staff and a great location We stayed at Mercure Hotel (Yu Garden Branch) for several days and were very pleased with our experience. The staff were truly caring and responsive, and they helped us with any questions or issues we had. The rooms were clean, the lobby is beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious and varied. Another big plus is the location: only a 7-minute walk to the Old Town and about a 20-minute walk to Nanjing Road. Highly recommended — we would gladly stay here again!

Overall, our stay was satisfactory. The staff is nice, friendly, and helpful, the breakfast was good, the location is convenient. But the hotel seems very old and not well-maintained, the floors in the rooms are damaged, the bathroom door didn’t close. The later issue was quickly resolved by the staff, thanks a lot. The hotel could really use some renovation.

Hotel room was great. The hotel serves a free light snack supper for all guests. It is quite far from the Metro but the nearby bus stop has buses that got us to the city easily. We are also a few minutes walk from a mall and just 12min walk from Yu Garden which is a must-go and has so many food options. The hotel also has a laundry room making long stays very viable here.

We loved our stay, well looked after by the staff. Hotel was clean and tidy. Complimentary Bus service was great. Travelled as a family of 5

Good location, near to line10 walking 700m. Close to 豫园 , lots of SH eatery options. Reception is helpful in all ways. Served simple good supper. Would recommend to friends.

Great amenities! Owen was very helpful and attentive. He even helped us call a car to the airport when we had 8 luggages. Great hotel and safe

10/10 clean, fresh, dirt-free, and the cushion of the bed made me fall asleep easily, and I also love their fragrance smell, hospitable services!

Ur stay was very good overrall, hotel is very nice and quiet. There was only one issue, on first day we asked for a box of breakfast to take in last day, but in last day someone forgot to prepare it, next time is better to do a friendly reminder in the day before. The hotel provides shuttle bus to some points, eich is very useful.

It was a the best choice to stay here. We experience a top notch hospitality. All staffs are very friendly from the receptionist to room service. We love it here very much!! Room very clean and the hotel smell great!!! Would definitely recommend to stay here and come again!!
