Нас підвищили до номера бізнес-класу, здається, саме так вони мені й сказали, у будь-якому разі, дуже вдячні за покращення. Персонал на рецепції був непоганий. Кімната була величезною для трьох, а краєвиди чудові. Можливо, кімната трохи застаріла. Подушка була занадто плоскою. Кондиціонер був шумним, але не заважав. Вибір страв на сніданку був прийнятним. Чистота хороша.

Гарний готель трохи далеко від набережної, але легко дістатися з DiDi. Гарний номер, з просторим вікном та видом. Сніданок також хороший.

We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Shanghai Hotel. The room was spacious and perfect for our family of four. The beds were huge and comfortable, and we liked having a bathtub and a small living area with a couch. The room had a cozy, rustic charm that made it feel welcoming. The breakfast was good with plenty of options to choose from. We also had dinner at the revolving restaurant on the 27th floor, which offered lovely city views. Be sure to make a reservation in advance if you plan to dine there. Note that the breakfast area is on the 1st floor and separate from the revolving restaurant. The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. A few minor things could be improved. The shampoo and body wash provided were quite small and not enough for a family of four. Complimentary bottled water was limited, and extra bottles came at an additional cost. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with spacious rooms, good food, and helpful staff. We would happily stay here again.

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. It was conveniently close to places that I visited and the staff were very helpful and friendly

everything was great,i arrived there on my birthday and they provided a piece of a cheesecake,staff is friendly and there’s even a robot deliverer in the hotel,definitely would love to stay there again ❤️

The hotel was great! The room was clean and so spacious. We had such a lovely view from our room window. Great location, walking distance to the North Bund. Breakfast was delicious with a good spread. So well worth it. My friends and I had a great stay.

The best hotel I stayed during my china tour. Close to bund and nanging pedestrian street. Staff is polite and helpful. Clean and tidy room

I've stayed at this hotel 2 times before, and all those times there were issues with the front desk staff who are incompetent, inefficient and poorly trained. But one specific male front desk staff named She (or Shu) has absolutely no right to be employed in the hospitality industry! His inadequate and rude behavior, agressive replies, crooked smile and sarcastic laughter and an unheard of refusal to help a foreign guest to look up a tourist bus schedule on a Chinese website - all this was reported to the management with a suggestion to fire him right away! The night shift duty manager Lu (who, as it turned out much later, is also the Human Resources Manager and the hotel's Vice-President!) was called immediately by the other staff in order to solve the issue. Lu agreed that this staff's behavior and attitude is inappropriate and unacceptable and promised to take serious measures. Lu himself offered to look up the bus' schedule for me while that rude staff was walking back and forth behind the front desk doing nothing and sarcastically smiling. When I came back to the hotel this time, 6 months later, guess who was at the front desk during check-in? The same agressive and sarcastically laughing staff She!!! I was shocked to see him still working there whereas he must have been fired 6 months ago! I only asked him why he was still there and he replied in an impolite tone: "What?" displaying his crooked sarcastic smile again. I refused to be checked in by him and called the duty manager. I had a conversation with the Front Desk Manager who revealed that he knew about constant issues with that staff's attitude, and they warned him multiple times that he must change his attitude, control his face expression and stop smiling and laughing sarcastically at guests, but he still continues doing it! I also spoke to Lu, the same night shift duty manager who came to solve the issue with that staff 6 months ago and who promised to take measures. This time it was finally revealed that he is not just a duty manager but the Human Resources Manager and the Vice President of the hotel!!! That means that it's his direct responsibility that that inadequate staff was employed in the first place and is still working. Lu said that he suggested to fire him but the other Human Resources Manager (there are 2 of them sharing this position), decided to keep him! What relation has the HR Managers to hospitality sector if they employ and keep the staff who has no idea what hospitality is and continuously harms guests without being punished or fired?? The same HR Managers employ other staff who are all inefficient and poorly trained. During my 3 stays I've seen multiple situations that proved how low the quality of staff is! The only staff members that at least show friendly attitude and are ready to assist are Front Desk Manager Ken, front desk staff Maggie (who is not working there anymore) and an incredibly nice and helpful SPA male staff named Yan. This SPA staff Yan assisted my mother in such a warm manner that my mother was totally impressed by his attitude and she praised him in front of the other staff, setting him as an example for everyone. This young boy Yan can indeed be set as a perfect example for all the hotel staff, including top managers, of what kind of people have the right to work in the hospitality sector!

Hotel is comfortable and service is good! Met all our needs with a 2yo kid. Located nearby Raffles City mall which has lots of food and others shopping. Mall is also connected to metro so easy to travel Great place to visit the area opposite the bund where its less crowded.
