Lucky Hotel（Shanghai People's Square Metro Station Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street Hotel）

I’m very satisfied with the service of the hotel staff and their support for my stay. I also happy for the discount they gave to me on my extended stay and responding immediately. All my request is granted. We are very happy for the cleanliness every day and water bottle requested when we needed. Next time i book again here.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay at Lucky Hotel Shanghai I had a wonderful stay at Lucky Hotel Shanghai. The location is extremely convenient, with easy access to transportation, shopping areas, restaurants, and major attractions. The hotel staff were friendly, polite, helpful, and efficient throughout my stay. They were always patient, understanding, and willing to assist whenever needed, which made the experience very pleasant. The cleanliness and hygiene standards were outstanding. The room and common areas were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. I was especially impressed that there were no mosquitoes or insects at all during my stay. The room was also very quiet, with excellent soundproofing, allowing for a comfortable and restful sleep every night. Overall, Lucky Hotel offers great value, excellent service, superb cleanliness, and a highly convenient location. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shanghai and would be happy to stay here again in the future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Rating: 5/5** Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

Great Location and Friendly Staff! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is a great little spot situated near People's Square. It is a few mins walk from the People's Square metro and also easily accessible by bus too, making it simple to get to and around all the sightseeing spots and direct metro line 2 in and out to Pudong Airport . It is also an easy 30 mins walk to The Bund, and Nanjing Road is only one road up. Just a few steps away from the hotel, there are plenty of famous dumpling shops, noodle shops, local food shops , convenient shops and beverages shops to choose from!The room is decent and ample with no funky smell. As expected, it is tight living in a busy city like this. There is not much street noise at all. The only noise was from other guests speaking loudly or being heavy-handed when shutting their doors. The hotel has a very good self-service laundry system and drying area. The staff are friendly and helpful at ALL times and they always greet us with a smile. The girl at the reception was very friendly at the time of check-in. At the time of booking I had asked for a room with a window but it was not possible, she said. She added me on WeChat to change rooms, which never happened. The hotel is well located, with plenty of restaurant options and conveniences. Of the five nights I stayed, only 3 of them the room was cleaned. The housekeepers talks very loudly at 8am, which woke me up every day. The elevator has a strong smell that I can't define what it is. The walls are so thin that you can hear everything from the other rooms. The air conditioning in the room is a plus because it was very hot when I visited the city. There was no TV even on the trip app announcing that there was a TV in the room. Just one washing machine for the entire hotel.

I stayed at Lucky Hotel for 5 days and 4 nights and was very satisfied with my experience. The service was excellent, especially the friendly and helpful reception staff who were always ready to assist with a smile. This hotel is also very convenient for guests who shop online, as they can receive Taobao packages. The staff even helped me arrange intercity shipping for my packages, which was extremely practical and convenient. The most pleasant surprise was receiving a complimentary room upgrade, which made my stay even more memorable. Overall, I am very happy with my stay at this hotel. If I return to Shanghai, Lucky Hotel will definitely be my first choice again.

Lucky Hotel although has a good location and gives guidance for customers to find the hotel easily, the hotel is not reliable as they can replace your booking at this hotel by another cheaper hotel as you can see in the pics of the room facilities in the Yujia hotel they replaced my booking. And I don't like the policy of deposit can cause you disappointment. Why a deposit when you can pay the room price in advance?I paid 289,7 yuan instead of 280, 7 yuan for the room when I was at the hotel reception, but they did no't notice me that I paid extra money. The extra money is small and I do not need they pay me back, but I want them to tell me that I paid some extra money.My advice: do not book the hotel like Lucky hotel as you can find many other hotel with good location convenient for your visits and travel around in Shanghai.

Location, location, location! It was the perfect location for our family. It was close to restaurants and the metro. The room was clean and had water bottle refills everyday. The staff is very helpful and nice. Since we have jetlag, we end up waking up around 5am in the morning and the dumpling stall is open right at 5am. The downside is the room space is very crowded. So if you have more than 2 big luggage, it's impossible to keep the luggage in the room.

The location was good.. walkable to Nanjing East Road leading to the Bund. Lot of eateries around. The room was clean and basic amenities available. The staff was great trying to help you out any which way they could.

Price worth, superb location. Walking distance to Nanjing Road. Will come back and recommend to others.
