Brooklyn Blues Hotel

Very friendly staff. The room was very clean. They leave water and extra toiletries on each floor. That is very handy and helpful. The location is perfect and within walking distance of many local restaurants. We didn’t feel like tourists which was great. Also the coffee bar and free bread in the morning was great. We loved the hot Americano. The owner is there everyday and cares for his guests and his employees are very friendly.

Very enjoyable stay. Offered a light breakfast. Tha location is very close to palace. Receptionist and guy from coffee shop are very helpfull.

If you’re okay with travelling via bus, this hotel is very convenient. The bus stops nearby has buses serving the major locations, so you wont have to deal with the subway crowd. The complimentary daily breakfast was pleasantly welcomed. The room was clean and would definitely consider staying here again the next time round!

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. When I look for hotels, one of the priorities is safety and cleanliness. I felt really safe in this hotel. It was clean, quiet. Everything was perfect for me: location, polite staff, service, their own cafe. I enjoyed having breakfast with free ciabatta and you can buy some drink, a cake in their cafe. It's situated near two stations (the 4th line, Hyehwa Station, and the 1st line, Jongno-5 ga Station). As for me, it's comfortable to carry your suitcase to the hotel after you get out of subway. As I love Naksan park and the neighbourhood around it, I choose the right hotel for walking there. When I come to Seoul, I would definitely choose this hotel again for staying. Thank you very much.

Nice hotel with small, but nicely decorated rooms. A plus is that the rooms have a balcony. Rooms are a bit noisy, especially the refrigerator next to the bed is noisy and makes sleeping difficult, I unplugged it. 8 minutes walk to the nearest MTR station, a few restaurants and convenience shops around.

I had a pleasant stay at Brooklyn Blues Hotel overall. The room was comfortable, and one of the highlights was the complimentary ciabatta. It may not look particularly fancy, but it was surprisingly delicious—I really enjoyed it! The only downside during my stay was the nearby construction. The noise started early in the morning and was quite loud, which disturbed my sleep on several days. I understand this is beyond the hotel’s control, but it’s something future guests should be aware of if they’re light sleepers. Despite that, I had a good experience and would consider staying here again once the construction is completed.

I had a wonderful experience at Brooklyn Blues Hotel. First of all, I want to highlight the staff working in the lobby and café. A large part of my positive experience was thanks to their kindness and hospitality. They were always friendly, approachable, and willing to help with anything I needed. They also genuinely enjoyed chatting with guests, which made the atmosphere feel warm and welcoming. A big round of applause to the entire team! My room was also in excellent condition. Since I was traveling alone, the room size was perfect for me. However, I can imagine it feeling a bit small for two people, especially if you are traveling with large suitcases. That said, the room had everything I needed, including a TV, refrigerator, slippers, bathrobe, complimentary water, air conditioning, and more. In the morning, guests can choose one of three complimentary breakfast options at the café: a bagel, a ciabatta sandwich, or a muffin. Drinks are not included and need to be purchased separately, but the prices are very reasonable considering the portion sizes. The location was also very convenient. The hotel is close to Subway Line 1, making it easy to connect to other parts of the city, and there is also a bus stop nearby. In addition, there are several convenience stores within walking distance, which was extremely handy during my stay. There is also a laundromat just a 2-minute walk from the hotel. Another great advantage is that Gwangjang Market is less than a 10-minute walk away. I would particularly recommend this hotel if you plan to spend most of your time in areas such as Jongno, Myeongdong, or Dongdaemun, as it is conveniently located for those neighborhoods. If you expect to spend a lot of time in Seongsu, Yeouido, or Gangnam, you may want to consider another location unless you don't mind slightly longer travel times. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend Brooklyn Blues Hotel to anyone visiting Seoul!

The room design is very nice and modern. The hotel is conveniently located close to Olive Young, restaurants, supermarkets and coffee shops. There is also a coffee shop on the ground floor. The staff are attentive and friendly, especially compared to many other hotels. The overall atmosphere feels cozy and homely, making the stay very comfortable. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from both the subway station and the airport bus stop, which is quite convenient. Overall, I was very impressed and value for money. My only minor comment is that some noise from neighbouring rooms and corridors can sometimes be heard. However, it did not affect my overall stay. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The staff is very nice and they can speak English well. Love the vibe of this hotel, especially love chilling out in the balcony at night. Very close to Gwangjang market and dongdaemun if you love local market you can choose to stay here. It will be excellent if the shower would have been separated from toilet.
