What a fabulous hotel, I have always wanted to stay in this hotel and it did not disappoint. The hotel itself is amazing, the décor outstanding, it is spotless from top to bottom to the point that the floors sparkle. The staff were all really nice and helpful and friendly, Enrique one of the bar staff was so lovely and Raquel who organised day time activities was so bubbly and friendly, along with the lovely young man who worked with her. The rooms were lovely and clean. The restaurant was lovely, food was nice and plenty of choices, especially the breakfast. We tended to go to the roof top pool area which was very nice with a small pool to cool down in. We also went to main pool later on in the day for a swim. Overall this holiday was everything I hoped it would be and I will definitely go back. Great location, great hotel, great staff

Beautiful hotel , very clean & the staff are lovely . I didn’t rate the food very highly , spoke to others who have stayed here before , they said the food has definitely gone downhill this year . Although signs saying no reserving sunbeds , all with a parasol were reserved at 9am with the usual towels , then off for a few hours for a leisurely breakfast & a stroll . I was unfortunate enough to be in room 428 ( back of the hotel ) rowdy teenagers in the apartment block opposite made sleep almost impossible , unless you wanted to sleep from 5am to 5pm . For this reason alone I would not do a return visit.

Great hotel. Loved the roof top pool. Pool view room (207). Lovely and clean with toiletries provided (see photo). I was remarkably impressed with the food. Dinner starts at 7.30 (see photo) but wait til about 8.15 to avoid the queues. Avoid 9.30 to 10 for breakfast. Very busy. 8.30 was lovely. They serve drinks in the restaurant or you can just take one in from the bar. Nice entertainment every night. I would give this 5 stars but 2 things I’d change. I’d have a kettle in the room (you can hire one) and I would change the layout of the buffet. The cold cuts (meats/cheeses etc) are next to the hot food and if there is a queue you find that the majority avoid the cold section and move onto the hot food. If this was moved to a different section it would help with the queues. Coffee machine took an absolute age to dispense coffee great coffee but this means more queuing. 4 pools in total. A bit of a queue to get a sunbed but we always got one on the roof every day without getting up at the crack of dawn. Would return.

Arrived early June Lovley hotel.I had requested a room with a walk in shower which they arranged for us . The bedrooms / bathroom are really nice all shampoo /shower jel/ Conditioner supplied Towels changed ever day or as often as required We dident get our room cleaned every day as we dident need it done so just put an do not disturb sign on door No tea or coffee facilities in rooms which is dissapointing for a 4 star hotel Had to go down and buy tea /coffee Which was more of a inconvenience than price We were on the side of hotel overlooking Hotel santa Monica Playa It was a nightmare wilith the noise coming from these apartments Bus loads of Spanish students coming and going everyday So ask for a room at the front or pool view Overall I would recommend this hotel It is beautiful .spotless clean and staff couldn't be nicer The pool areas of which thete are 4 are really nice However people were coming and leaving towels and not coming out till afternoon which is unfair on other guests You can rent out pool towels for €10 deposit for your stay this is refunded on return of them Bar prices are reasonable some cheaper that other bars staff are really nice Really found Adrian to be so friendly and helpful

Tourist tax at this hotel that you have to pay at reception on arrival was 18.48 euros in total (9.24 euros per person). You only pay up to a max of 7 nights even if you are stating longer. I emailed the hotel about a week before arrival and requested a room on the 5th floor and was pleased that my request was met. This hotel is up a slight hill but your room card opens a door on the lower terrace at the side of the hotel therefore avoiding the hill. First impressions of this hotel are good as you walk in the main entrance. Nice marble effect flooring and plenty of couches and armchairs in the main lounge area where the evening entertainment takes place. Reception staff speak some English and are pleasant and helpful and will give you a map of Salou if you ask. The adult only roof top terrace on the 6th floor gets all day sun and opens at 10.00am -7.00pm. and has plenty sunbeds and a plunge pool and the roof top bar opens at 11.00am. The night entertainment starts at 9.30am and has different good singers every night and Karaoke on Wednesday evening. There are 2 good size swimming pools, one at the front of hotel and one at the side of the games room and a children's pool at lower terrace. Bedrooms are good size with wardrobe and drawers, plenty plug points, hairdryer, free safe and small fridge. No kettles in rooms so take your own travel kettle or you can hire from reception for a return deposit and 3 euros per day. Our bathroom had a walk in shower with 2 different size shower heads and worked well. The balcony was also a good size. Better to pay supplement for a pool view room as these are the rooms that get afternoon sun, sea view and look right along the coast of Salou. Rooms on the 4th and 5th floors are best as these rooms are above the trees and get better views. ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT WAS THAT THERE WAS NO COMPLIMENTARY BOTTLE OF WATER IN ROOM ON ARRIVAL. Food - Avoid going to restaurant when it opens at 7.30pm as there is always a queue to get in and then there is a large queue for the hot food which can take 15 minutes to get the food. Better to go down between 8.15 -8.30pm as no queues. Breakfast choice was good . The chef cooked fried eggs and pancakes but did not cook omelettes. At dinner he usually cooked fish, chicken fillets and thin steak but he never had a joint of meat to carve like turkey, pork or ham. Every night there was always paella and nice pizza and good chips and other hot food dishes. The dessert selection was good along with fresh fruit in bowls and there was ice-cream tubs in a fridge. The head waiter was always smartly dressed in his suit and spoke good English and was a very nice man.

Hotel lovely staff lovely entertainment staff the bingo bono was excellent rooms lovely sitting outside was lovely food was not very good no omelette for breakfast sausage was awful didn't have little cheese for dinner with crackers dessert were lovely but good on evening wasn't very good the hotel was right in the centre of salou excellent and the electrics went off two nights running because the next door had straightened blowing the electric on the 6 floor and in the restaurant the staff were taking plates and we haven't fhished with and staff in restaurant not all but there was a lot who didn't speak English reception staff excellent cleaning staff excellent the only thing let down the hotel was the food
