We spent 14 nights here in June as a couple . Our room was on the first floor 145 , which was directly looking over the pool and outside entertained area .The facilities and furnishings in the public areas were of a very high standard. The food on offer at breakfast, lunch and evening , was always very well presented and with something available for everyone . Drinks at the bar are very reasonable priced and the cocktails are superb. Our room was adequate but could have done with more drawers , but plenty of hangers and a free safe , but didn't understand the shelving in the wardrobe it was only about 4 inched wide so you couldn't use it to store much at all .The rooms were cleaned every day as were the public areas , the hotel is immaculately clean . Most ofthe staff were always very helpful and curtious .However there are a few issues regarding the rules that are in place within the hotel some of which are , NO food or drink to be removed from the restaurant , I got stopped from taking half a cup of coffee out of the resturant , while I saw ,every day people making sandwiches putting cakes , fruit and other food items in their bags and walking out the restaurant with them without being stopped , if I could see them doing it I,m sure the staff could see it going on but they chose to ignore it . Another rule is , no swimwear is allowed within the reception area , we saw men walking around with swimming trunks on and no tops , daily , also women walking around with swimwear on , nothing was ever done to stop this . Reserving sunbeds is not permitted, but on a daily basis towels are placed on sunbeds while the people doing this ,either go to eat or go into the resort and come back hours later , I never saw any towels being removed by staff . We found the music being played every afternoon to be excessively loud , so loud infact that we couldnt speak to each other on our balcony and be heard , so absolutely no chance of having a cat nap between 3 and 7 ,as a lot of people do , we and other guests went to reception and told them that the music was excessively loud and could it be turned down a bit , nothing was done, infact I,m sure the lady from the animation team turned it up , and there was me thinking guest satisfaction was a priority , obviously not with the animation team. It was so hot in June as you would expect in Spain but there just wasn't enough sun parasols to go round , and I suggest in the searing heat, making more available is a priority .
