We arrived at 3am and went to our room, to find someone else in there! Once this was sorted out and we were given room 614 - which was absolutely nothing like the pictures. It was mouldy and filthy and just disgusting to be honest and we are not actually fussy people! I would give this hotel 2 stars at best due to the level of cleanliness and the general state of the hotel which had broken furniture and torn sofas in communal areas. The pictures do not reflect this hotel at all.

Very dated bedrooms, bathroom not draining well, ripped towels, food not good (had to eat everyday out) Good location. Entertainment/bar team all wonderful. Reception ladies and one gentleman are very nice. Overall had a good time. I would suggest to visit Elias Grill and Italian restaurant next to it- amazing food and good prices! Do not miss to visit Lindos Paul’s Bay beach.

Just spent the week in the sunshine hotel and had a blast myself my mum and my daughter had the best time first time in Greece and been fantastic start of season so not alot open around but Shelley and Billy from entertainment team were great and ran activities through the day and night food was tasty although repetitive but think this was due to just opening for the season Italian restaurant onsite was just opening as we were leaving

Hotel says 4*, absolutely not. Restaurant- Very poor choice of food, same stale food served both lunch & dinner. Cleaners taking plates of food & drinks from us that wasn’t even finished with. Roof leaking onto the tables, in lots of places of the restaurant. A la carte restaurant, we made a booking, waiting over 45 minutes to be served, whilst we seen others arrive later than us and then eating before we got served. Ended up leaving without our food! Hotel- wet smelly bedding, dirty mattresses, sink and bath didn’t hold water! Air con & heating didn’t work, spoke to reception and said the room was far too cold for our baby, they said they’d send someone to fix, no one turned up. Went back the next day again to report to be told nothing would be done and to put more blankets on baby. Baby is 7 months old and shouldn’t have blankets as is a risk for suffocation. Room was advertised as a double/twin room with sofa bed. THERE WAS NO SOFA BED. House keeping left our balcony doors open multiple times. Entertainment-absolutely shocking, wouldn’t even call it entertainment. Was also placed in different areas each day without any sort of signs so no one knew where it was. both lifts in the main building and our hotel block both out of use, meaning we had to lift and carry the pram up & down stairs. Swimming pools floor paint was flaking off, and just left floating around. The children’s slide was sharp leaving my child with x4 scrapes on her left leg. One evening whilst having a evening drink another family was fighting and shouting, physically beating each other. My partner moved out children away whilst I tried to get help from staff. To be told ‘it’s not their problem’ Other members of our party had things stolen from their room by housekeeping. Asked for somewhere to store cases to be told theirs lockers-ok that’s fine. To then get to the lockers to be absolutely smashed to bits, presumably by them being broken in. All doors bend it, like it had been pulled into with bars to get the doors open. Absolutely awful hotel, wouldn’t even say it’s a 3*

Avoid at any cost! Dirty/stinky rooms. Front office manager very rude. Food disgusting, all plates chipped and the glasses not properly washed. Ripped towels, bedsheets do not feet the mattress. The only good thing about this hotel is entertainment. They are very nice. Otherwise rude staff in the front office, except one lovely girl who was a receptionist at night when we arrived. Every single guest whoever is here is complaining about the same things. Otherwise I would think I’ve gone mad as I’ve not been for many years to such an awful place.

Where to start with this place… Upon our arrival we decided to take a look at the hotel bar, priorities. The bar was a pit of despair which offered beer, wine from a tap of a choice of repellent cocktails, coupled with atmosphere that made you wonder if you were in a hospital waiting room. We then made the executive decision to go to the room to get changed and go to a local bar. The room was absolutely vile! Rock solid yet lumpy bed, wardrobe that had stains in it but nothing trumped the bathroom, toilet seat that didn’t fit the toilet, a bath with a shower in it that I was unwilling to stand on in my bare feet and you get to meet your shower water for a second time as it rises up onto the bathroom floor from the drain. The entertainment seems to be operated by one single man who works harder than the devil himself. He offers darts during the day and a show (of sorts) at night, he himself is a lovely man but should not be left to his own devices. Don’t worry though, there is plenty of entertainment from the assemblies of drongos that frequent the hotel. I don’t even know what to say about the buffet other than if you love oil covered potatoes and dry pork for every meal, then you’re on to a winner. It’s obvious that there has been no renovation work for the past 20 years which is the amount I have aged after spending a week here. I wouldn’t even say that it was value for money as we met other travellers who paid less for their hotel yet it was much nicer so it seems that in this case, you don’t even get what you pay for. Other guest had made valid complaints to the manager (such as water coming from a hole in their ceiling) and the manager was rude and unwilling to do anything to help despite there being plenty of unoccupied rooms.
