Atlantica Mikri Poli Rhodes

I just returned from six wonderful days at the Mikri Poli Hotel in Rhodes. The hotel is well-maintained and full of activities for kids — it's never boring! The food is of good quality, with plenty of options at every meal and a wide variety. The Mediterranean restaurant was absolutely amazing — the food was incredibly delicious, like a true gourmet chef’s restaurant. The rooms are clean and cleaned daily. They provide a large bottle of water, and the towels are soft and pleasant. The only thing that could be improved a bit is updating the room, but overall it was clean, with a spacious balcony and lots of storage space. The entire staff is friendly and always helpful. The entertainment team was fantastic and fun — the magician’s show was excellent! The beach is just across a small road. You’ll need water shoes because it’s all stones there, but there’s also a restaurant and drinks included in the stay. We had a great time!

Lovely hotel - lots of different pool areas catering to different tastes. Spent a lot of time in the water park where parents can sit on the beds whilst the kids play on the slides and lazy river. Main pool also nice - very deep, but sunbeds there went very quickly (and well before the claimed 9am cut off). Rooms very clean and well maintained, air conditioning worked well and the internet was excellent. Food was great although did get very busy (it's a much bigger hote than it looks). Location fantastic - half hour to Rhodes or Lindos. Taxi fares are capped on the island so about 45 Euros to either destination and the front desk will ring for a taxi for you. Short walk to Kolymbia with some nice shops, and the beach (very stoney) but huge with a good chance to snorkel. Highly recommended.

Our stay at the Mikri Poli Atlantica Hotel was in one word: spectacular. All the staff were warm and welcoming and could not be faulted. They made the trip a true once in a lifetime experience. The food and drink were simply impeccable. The chefs and bar staff are incredibly talented and my family and I particularly enjoyed the range due the themed evenings. We all got to try something new and found new favourites thanks to this. Staff were always around to help. The front desk was always managed with a kind smile and willingness to help. The cleaning and housekeeping teams clearly took pride in their hotel. The rooms were always spotless and well kept. While the hotel itself was clean and picturesque no matter what part of it you were enjoying. The animation team were absolutely superb! All activities were run professionally and enjoyably. The main pool was always a great place to get to know the fitness team better while having a great time during one of the sessions. Also along side with fitness the sports team always arranged wonderful games to join in on. The entertainment in the evening was always a highlight of the day. Whether it was the magic show or one of the animation teams performances you were guaranteed to have an amazing time! Overall there is not one thing I can think to fault about it. Every member of staff was friendly and fantastic at their job. My family and I had an extraordinary time and we will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and family.

We recently stayed at Atlantica Mikri Poli Rhodes and would describe the overall experience as average, with both positives and areas for improvement. On the plus side, we really enjoyed the pool area on the beach side of the resort. The sunbeds there are very comfortable, and unlike in many other resorts, we never experienced the problem of guests reserving them early in the morning with towels – even around 8:30–9:00 it was easy to find a spot and relax. The beach itself is also lovely, with clean, light-colored pebbles and a gentle entrance into the sea. Right next to the hotel there is a great water sports rental – Antonis Watersports – which we can warmly recommend. Food at the main buffet is fairly varied, and the waiters and bar staff were always kind and polite. On the downside, cleanliness and room standards are where the hotel really falls short. If a “superior” room is advertised as luxurious, but what you actually find is chipped furniture and a stained sofa, then something is clearly not right. Housekeeping service was minimal, limited mostly to changing towels and making beds – the floors were not washed and bathrooms were not properly cleaned. In the main restaurant, although the sea view is beautiful, the atmosphere is very loud and often chaotic. The waiters, while very nice, often seemed to move slowly through the restaurant, whereas the floor managers sometimes showed a rather arrogant attitude when assigning tables for dinner, especially when the restaurant was busy. Around the resort, support staff also sometimes seemed disengaged; for example, used plates were left on tables for a long time. The strong, overly sweet air freshener in the reception area did not add to the comfort either. Overall, while we had some truly relaxing moments – especially by the beachside pool – the hotel still feels very average due to the lack of cleanliness, the gap between the promised “luxury” standard and the actual condition of the rooms, and the uneven service experience. With serious improvements in upkeep and housekeeping, it could deliver a much better stay.

We are a family of 4, just back from a fabulous holiday (2 kids, aged 10). Food and drink was tasty and plentiful. The main buffet restaurant did well, compared to other family all-inclusive's we've been to. The waiting staff are on the ball with the service. The Italian restaurant was lovely, as was the a la carte (apart from the wobbly tables, which we fed back in the survey). The pools were clean and the landscape gardens were beautiful. The main entertainment pool was busy and hard to get a sunbed around unless you get up early but the other 5 pools always had sunbeds available. Our favourite pool was the furthest, quiet one, with comfortable mattress beds, with the odd trip to the aqua park when the kids fancied it. The animation team works really hard. There is lots going on if you want to get involved but it isn't pushed upon you if you don't want to join in. The kids enjoyed the good quality football pitch every evening and made lots of friends. The beds are comfortable, the air con works perfectly and the showers are decent. We did have an issue with housekeeping and complained to reception. The Manager took our criticism seriously and thereafter we were treated like VIPs. Special mention to Eletheria who then personally looked after our room to a high standard. I used the gym several times and there was always a long wait for the single treadmill - a second machine would be great. The staff seem genuinely happy and cheerful, always smiling and they make you feel welcome. I highly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to return.

We have just come back from a lovely two week stay. We had a lovely room near the main pool and pool bar, which was great for popping back to the room during the day and my son loved that he had a separate room. The entertainment staff during the day were amazing and worked so hard. I would like to especially mention Matteo, Viola, Sarah and Bartek, who regularly chatted with us at the sunbeds. I took part in water aerobics, yoga and boccia and all were great fun. The pools were all amazing we mainly stayed by the main pool and went to the slides (which my son loved). The beach was easy to walk to and was lovely. We did struggle with the choice of food available, there was not much variety. There was not much choice at the children's buffet, and my son would have loved to have some chicken nuggets and fries but there was none. The hotel is in a great location and the main street is a 10 minute walk away with restaurants , bars and shops.
