This is my second stay at Hu Albatros camp leaving me with mixed feelings. We love the area, plenty of sun, plenty of activities, big supermarket to avoid shopping around. Nice set of restaurants with decent choices of food. Compared to Ireland, the prices are even 1/2 cheaper, especially pizzas. The pools in the camp are great, perfect and safe for kids. So, why then "mixed" feelings: - smoking at pools and everywhere in the restaurants and activities areas. That's either smoking and vaping, either walking or standing, sitting and so on. The management of the camp allows it, so it is a great camp for smokers - I'm not going to preach about it, and as a non-smoker you're left to either fight for your space or simply leave and move until you you encounter the same in the next 10 or 15 or 30tish minutes - dogs. I do not mind dogs but their owners taking them everywhere. In fairness I haven't seen them in the pool areas but everywhere else, including the supermarket And imagine them weeing in front of your mobile home, one after other "marking" their presence. Even a poo was left in front of the food shop next to the kids 2 pools, people stepping on it and walking in the pools. Took a few hours before it was cleaned by poor food shop owner - electric scooters. Max permitted speed in the camp is 5km/h for cars but that doesn't apply for scooters running 30tish km/h. Haven't witnessed any accidents but I might have missed it either. And yes, there is the sign for scooters to not be used in pool areas but you can see them running there too These are my three main complaints about this Hu camp and I'll need to carefully re-think what should be my choice for the next year. Now, it's time to move to other spot as 2 smokers are laying next to me smoking...
