Aminess Vival Lišanj Family Hotel

We stayed at the hotel for 7 days with a baby aged 1 year and 10 months. The hotel is nice and tidy, the balls at the entrance are a real treat for children. The rooms are spacious and tidy, the pools are clean and there are enough sun loungers. The beach is close. The bed is extremely comfortable and the view is beautiful. The food is plentiful (we had all inclusive light, which includes food and drinks, wine and beer during meals) and very tasty, but after a few days you realize that the same dishes are repeated (the last two days there was no variety of fruit, for example, there were no bananas). A very large number of high chairs for small children. Everyone is very kind, the hotel is ideal for slightly older children, the animators are excellent. However, the cleanliness of the room is by no means at the level of a 4-star hotel. Our room was cleaned every other day, we replaced the beach towels once after I asked the gentlemen in the hallway. Cleaning the room was limited to making the bed, dirty dishes, etc. They did not touch or clean the toilet. The balcony was cleaned once in 7 days. The child pulled dust and dirt out of the holes. Also, the hotel is by no means suitable for baby strollers. to get to any pool you have to go down stairs, narrow metal stairs, which are not even suitable if you are carrying a baby, let alone for a stroller (p.s. you can go through the restaurant and exit the restaurant, go down to the beach and reach the pool with only one small step). around the pool is quite untidy, a lot of dirt and garbage that doesn't get out of the way, so it becomes slippery and gets stuck in children's hands. The sunbeds on the beach are paid for by hotel guests, so they are empty. entering the sea is also unsuitable for children, because the steps are not cleaned of grass and algae, so they are very slippery. The restaurant lacks dishes for children, considering that it is a children's hotel, it would be fine if there were the same. All in all, the hotel may deserve a 4-star rating, but not a family hotel.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this family hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with incredible warmth and hospitality. The staff are exceptionally kind and always ready to help, making us feel completely at home. The food was outstanding – every meal was delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. What really stood out was how well everything is tailored for families. Our daugter had the time of their lives – from fun activities to safe play areas, there was something exciting for them at every turn. The hotel itself is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and very clean. The surrounding area is also lovely, with well-maintained paths, greenery, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy nature. We truly can't wait to come back – this place is a gem for families!

On our travels to Italy we decided to divert for a few days and take a short holiday in Croatia. We found this hotel as we were searching for reservations while still in the US. Overall it was a very good stay. Hotel was clean and all meals were included. While the meals were adequate we ventured out into town for dinner each night. One great place was San Mariano. It was a short walk along the beach. It's an outdoor restaurant with great food and a great view. Staff was very friendly but we want to give huge shoutouts to Randy as he took care of us at the beach and Petar at the pool bar. He was friendly and helpful. This hotel is far way from home for us but we felt comfortable and welcomed. Thank you for a memorable stay. Our daughter cried on our last night because she didn’t want to leave.

Absolute disgrace of a hotel and certain staff members. Due to their mistake in the reservation system, two nights were booked starting from Thursday instead of Friday as selected in the app. Upon arriving at the reception on Friday, not only was the employee visibly irritated, but also extremely rude. There was no available room because, according to them, we didn't show up the day before, which was when our reservation was made. However, they did manage to find a room with the condition that we must check out the next day, since two nights were reserved, and one night was already missed. Considering our original plan was to stay until Sunday, we requested a change to reflect our initial booking, from Friday to Sunday. However, they continued to insist that the mistake was ours, and in the end, we ended up paying for three nights with full board, even though we only used two. After complaining via email, we received a response stating once again that the mistake was ours and that they were not able to "reduce" the price, which was not even what we were asking for. We simply wanted to settle our stay in the arrangement that we actually used, not an additional day they made up due to THEIR mistake in the system. After we paid and left the hotel, there was no further response to our email - very professional, I must add! I sincerely hope that this review helps at least one person to avoid this hotel. To reiterate, ABSOLUTE ZERO, a classic Croatian style of trying to extract extra money. I hope you'll put it to good use.

Tonight we have arrived to the hotel Lisanj. It was an incredible shock for me. There were ants in the room, the carpet is so dirty that it would probably only fit in a barn. There is a visible trace of something on the small stool, which may have been vomit not long ago. In response to a complaint about ants, an elderly lady came with a disinsection agent, and she started spraying the ants in my presence and the presence of my child. However, it is not possible to use in the presence of people. Just absolute horror. I couldn't hold back the tears. If it were not such a long way back home, I would have left immediately.

We ordered classic room. The equipment was enough to satisfy us but too small wardrobe. There was only one window in a small room and there was a power generator 3 meter from the window and it was working 24 hours. We also felt smell of the kitchen. The room was too noisy from outside and inside as well. The wall on the bathroom was too dirty. Unsuitable is leaving cleanly towels on the floor of the corridor. The restaurant has not a cosy feel. The restaurant was noisy too like a company canteen, the walls were too dirty. Coffee was horrible. Fish and pizza were great. The outside pool was great, there was salt water. Score point are for outside pool, pizza, fish.
