Penhallow House

Rarely have I stayed anywhere quite like this. I stayed in Corfemullen which was a caravan done out in the most delightful way, in a setting of woodland on the outside of the village of St Newlyn East. The van itself has heating and the very important electric blanket for those cooler nights. A very comfortable double bed and outside its own seating area, a swing and seats to enjoy the camp fire. The facilities themselves, there is a breakfast room with unlimited tea of every choice and coffee, bread, butters jams and condiments. Bearing in mind it posh camping but there is an ice machine, an air fryer, an egg boiler, pots and pans and a camping stove for everyone’s use. A tv if you fancy a telly night and a big kitchen table for everyone to sit round. There is an outside (posh) bathroom good shower with limitless hot water and a toilet. There is also a compost toilet not far away from the pods. This year they’re doing one of the barns into an outside shower so there will be more facilities. Location is 15 min walk from a good pub in the village and 20 mins from Newquay and Perranporth. I highly recommend this place with hosts Rich and Ian on hand if there’s anything you need!

Lovely setting, good set up, everything you need for a great stay and options available to purchase if you forgot something. Lovely touch with continental breakfast as well. Nice walk to the pheasant pub. Definitely would go back and we'll recommended

I only stayed one night due to travel arrangements but as soon as I arrived I wished it was longer. I found it easily using google maps and once I parked up, was met by the lovely host, Ian. Super friendly and helpful; showed me where everything was and walked me to my pod. This was really appreciated because I arrived in the evening (in mid-January!) and it was dark. The pod was stunning. Warm, cosy, clean, smelt amazing and oh my goodness the comfiest bed! Ian had put the heated sheet on before my arrival so it was toasty and wonderful. I fell asleep to the sounds of 2 barn owls calling, and they greeted me in the morning as well. Lovely place. Will be back 100%.

Wow just wow! What a fabulous weekend! Such a cozy and comfortable pod. Was very warm with the heater and electric blanket. Loved having the Firepit and little outdoor seating area. Some other great spaces to use to chill if the weather isn’t kind. Good kitchen space to make food with Egg cooker, air fryer and ice maker! Big fridge in the kitchen and small one in the pod. Perfect stay had everything we needed. Lovely hosts and very friendly. Great taste in music :-) Great site and great pub Pheasant Inn only 18 min walk away serving really good food! Lovely little village with very pretty xmas lights. This is our 2nd time here and we loved it even more than the 1st time. Can’t wait to go back! Thank you for an amazing stay 💕👌

We had and incredible time at Penhallow House (2 adults, 1 infant). We spent a long weekend there and it was lovely. The tent was large and roomy, more than big enough for us. The communal areas were clean and comfy. And Rich made us feel really, really welcome – he went above and beyond. We loved the free roaming chickens and chicks, and my son enjoyed visiting the guinea pig too! We were also pleasantly surprised at how close it was to Leppa Valley, where we took our little one for the day. Overall, we had a blast. Highly recommend, would love to go back!

Super place to stay, spacious with comfy beds, heated blankets, clean toilets and shower - and breakfast available if required, Out in the peaceful countryside less than 15minues from the golf course and beaches of Perranporth. Highly recommended
