Park Avenue Bayswater Inn Hyde Park

The hotel is in a very beautiful and nice neighborhood next to Hyde park. The basic rooms however are in the basement so there is actually no sunlight apart from a small and dirty window (better not to see the views outside). Our stay was mainly just sleeping in the room so it didn't bother us that much. The rooms were cleaned daily and had everything we needed. The staff was also friendly and breakfast was good.

I booked 25 sqm Club room. When arrive they put us to half space basement room with blind window. After my claim they moved us to more spacious basement room. After couple hours it turned out that A/C did not work as we could feel hot and humid air after shower. Night was horrible like in sauna. Then I claimed again in the morning and had to change room again. This time they offered to us ground zero right space room. But there was outside jarring A/C outer unit close to the window and also jarring bathroom fan. Bedding not changed, dirty towels, and all daily is to make your bed only. Breakfast same everyday and bottled water for the first night only. So, problem is they don't inform you what level is your room during booking. I would not book if I knew that

Very disappointing stay. The room and housekeeping standards were far below what I would expect from a four-star hotel. I found mould-like contamination inside the coffee machine water container, dirty/stained towels, and dirty cups even after the room had supposedly been cleaned. There was also no shower/bath soap, and I had to ask reception repeatedly over two consecutive days for it to be refilled. What made the experience worse was the attitude of the reception staff. Instead of dealing with the problems professionally, they repeatedly argued against the complaints and tried to justify the situation. I was even told that dirty cups were “normal” for their hotel and that they do not clean them when guests are staying in no matter how many days. Combined with the excessively humid lower-ground room initially allocated to me and the repeated hygiene issues throughout my stay, this was an extremely poor experience. Overall, the stay was not worth the money at all.

Stayed one night, didn't eat anything. Water hot, A/C working fine. Clean. All good.

Had a pleasant stay abd staff were absolutely amazing. Courteous and polite. Will definitely stay again.

Great location and staff are super helpful and friendly. Breakfast included is pretty good. Room was only moderately clean and a bit dated, plus we were on lower ground floor so the view from our window was not good and the outside part looked rather dirty.

The night I entered the hotel, the reception was good and was provided with the kind of room I have requested.   However,  after the second day I complained to the reception that I found unhealthy condom packets and spotted comforter under the sofa bed.   My request is to get the housekeeper to just clean the room and the reception misunderstood me and requested me to vacate that room 211 and that she will offer another room equivalent to the same room.    She requested me to come back at 3.00pm for the new room and my baggage was kept in the standby room.    I find that the hospitality was horrible as they provided me with a smaller room via staircase.    Then the Supervisor suggested me on the Ground Floor just about near to the reception.

Family room was in basement, lots of above noise. Breakfast was just warm Reception were very friendly.

Good hotel with good position
