Good parts, entertainment staff especially Yoli were excellent. These guys were on the go all the time. The snack bar constantly filling up the snacks, burgers, chicken nuggets,chips, wraps, salad bowls and sandwiches. Bar staff very polite and friendly. You can also help yourself to ice cream, crisps, etc plus soft drinks. We found the restaurant food to be good, others who have been there several times said it had gone downhill. The pool no ball games, no large rings. I checked with the lifeguard that by going for lunch she would not be putting a ticket on our beds as she was very eager to do this and remove towels. When I got back she had put tickets on them. But others that disappeared for several hours she chose to ignore! Now the downside, the in resort rep only interested in selling tickets to events. We went to see her regarding going to the aqua splash, she told us where to get in and not to go for 11.30 when they open as everyone queues at that time. Never ask if we had got any tickets. When we were questioning why we hadn’t got our tickets all she kept saying was you should have collected them on the 1/2 day, we could not make her understand we didn’t know we were suppose to collect them. She refused to acknowledge there was an issue if we had any problems when we got home, she would not even write down our name, room number and the issue. So we queued went eventually to the information box, told we needed tickets. No idea what they were on about so gave up and went back to hotel! At hotel we were told you haven’t paid for tickets, then it was you should have ask for your tickets. Ok so how on earth did we know, some get tickets emailed via TUI some get them in a pack at check in and others should know they should ask for them! Then the biggest lie ever to be told they have been putting notes through our door every day to tell us to collect them, to this day I can 100 % assure anyone no notes were put through our door, surely they cannot think we would ignore them it could have saved all this had the person delivering the notes got the correct room! Needless to say we never made it to the aqua splash, the girl on reception came out on the last day waving our tickets they had got. We had made other plans for the day. Rang TUI where we booked it, same again no interest. Sent off complaint and eventually a lady called Katherine took the issue up and sorted as best she could. I write this as if you do go there,on your check in please get these tickets to save the disappointment we had.
