Golden Donaire Beach

As we have always stayed in salou we went to book salou with tui and as my mum was going with us in a wheelchair we where recommend this hotel as it had a walk in shower and better for my mum. The beach is right on your doorstep BUT is very expensive to get beds alot of people bought there own deck chairs. The beach was absolutely beautiful I did get up one morning to watch the sunrise. Hotel was amazing for entertainment. The goldie club was amazing very kid friendly and my 6 year old ( turned 6 while on holiday) had an absolutely amazing time at the club and entertainment. Only downside which was small was the bar staff few times was very rude to me and if I went up with my partner we got served but when I went up by myself they seemed to ignore me and serve all the Spanish and leave me standing there. Apart from Nathan who was Irish like myself. Also with such an amazing kids club a kids section in the restaurant would have been handy. You could get chicken nuggets on all inclusive but again this wasn't a option for me. It was half board and that was that. Seemed English got all inclusive Irish didn't... cause any Irish I met was ALL half board...... overall this holiday was brilliant. Not much to do in la pineda itself but go to the beach. My partner hates sand lol so was wasted on us. The waterpark is a 10 min walk aquapolis BUT we read reviews that you get weighed before EACH ride ( its true we where talking to a couple who got weighted) sooo unless your on monjorno or meet the weight limits book it. My partner didn't so we didn't bother booking it. La pineda was easy to get about on buses your 10 mins away from everything. Loved this hotel will definitely be back shout out to the goldie club girls isobell and Maria

Just home after a last minute all inclusive break at the Golden Donnaire. I wanted to share my positive experience. A family of four with two older teenagers. We arrived late (after letting reception know it would be after midnight). When we arrived they had food and water set up in the restaurant for us. There was a small mix up on arrival with our kids being put into a double room but this was sorted without any fuss at all. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is spotless. For all inclusive the variety of food was great and great quality, m only improvement would be to have a bit more variety other than deep fried stuff in the snack bar, but thats a small thing. The pool gets busy but its was never an issue to get a bed, you cant reserve beds till 9am at the earliest. The entertainment team work hard and put serious effort in. Few tips for visitors. If you arrive by car there is no parking at the hotel. The whole area in La Pineda is pay and display and the nearest free parking is 6.5K away. Pay parking is 10am-9pm and will cost you about €14, you cant get an all day ticket so will need to return and top up. There are wardens patrolling ticketing so be warned. Pool towels can be rented for a €10 deposit There is some works going on behind the hotel and on the beach but thats nothing to do with the hotel. Overall a brilliant stay and well worth a visit

The hotel grounds were beautiful and clean. I have to say all the staff were great especially the animators Maria and Raquel they got my daughter involved as much as they could even tho she was only 1. The food was decent, I did have pink raw chicken one day which wasn’t pleasant however the rest was great. I have a corner room and the layout was like a mini apartment nice and spacious with a huge balcony. I did unfortunately get a large cockroach in my bathroom (I was on the 5th floor) and the reception just left a spray incase they came back. Never had to fight for a sunbed and good location. Would return 😊
