Grand Mercure Kuala Lumpur Bukit Bintang

This place was decent overall. Most of the time after midnight, there isn't anyone at the lobby counter, you'll have to check inside that mini door to see if anyone's around. I appreciate the staff allowing us to leave our baggage at the lobby first. Tragic that an early check in was not possible. However, the quality of the bed could be improved, and the location is fairly average in terms of convenience. The staff were generally polite and provided a reasonable level of hospitality and assistance, although there is still some room for improvement in terms of service quality and attentiveness.

The staff is super helpful and friendly, the room is spacious and clean, I love it so much! The complimentary items (batik pouch) is nice and the location is good, very near to Jalan Alor and Plaza Rakyat LRT station.

We had a wonderful family stay at Grand Mercure Kuala Lumpur Bukit Bintang. The hotel is in a great location, with Bukit Bintang, Jalan Alor, shopping malls, and many attractions just a short walk away, making it very convenient for families exploring the city. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, providing a relaxing place to rest after a day of sightseeing. The beds were cozy, and the housekeeping team kept everything spotless throughout our stay.

That room have insert for first day second that when they clean the room have the left tower bath , and forget top up lotion . Need call and ask them refill first time . I thought will be happy stay this area .during last day check up I forget take that bags and call counter as I rush and need go back and take the and rush the train . That counter people is slow and slow .

Overall a great stay. Check in was pretty smooth and i really enjoyed the stay here. Breakfast was alright. The spread was sufficient but taste wise could be further improved. Will consider to stay here again.

Had a good stay at Grand Mercure Kuala Lumpur with a friend during our trip. The room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel location was convenient for getting around the city. Staff were friendly and the overall atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. A nice choice for friends traveling together, and we enjoyed our stay overall.

The reception service needs improvement. One female receptionist (the taller lady) provided poor service, and one male staff member was not friendly. When my wife checked in, she was assisted by the taller lady, who asked her to pay a tourist tax of RM10. After I met my wife, I asked about the check-in process, and she told me she had paid the RM10 tourist tax. I was surprised because I had already paid the tourist tax through Trip.com. We then complained to the receptionist. The taller lady was no longer there, but two other staff members who had taken over her shift handled our complaint. They checked the system, opened the drawer, and refunded our RM10. That night, we decided to extend our stay by one more night through Trip.com. The next morning, we checked in again for the second day, and we met the same lady who had previously asked for the RM10. My wife completed the check-in, and we were told everything had been processed. However, when we returned in the evening, our key card did not work for the lift. After waiting in line behind three people, we finally spoke to a male receptionist. Instead of helping politely, he blamed us for not updating the key card during the morning check-in. I responded that it should have been the staff’s responsibility to ask for our card and update it. Staff should assist guests with a smile and provide help, not place blame. On the positive side, the room was clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. However, on the second day, the bedsheets and blanket (bed cover) were not changed from the first day. The water pressure for both the shower and sink was very strong, which I personally liked, although it surprised my wife at first. Still, it is better than having weak water pressure. Bathroom amenities were quite complete, but there was no comb or shaving kit for men. I am not sure whether these need to be requested.

The room is clean and the bed is really comfortable.The front desk staff are very helpful,and the lobby is a nice place to relax with welcome drinks . However,the breakfast is quite disappointing.

check in was welcoming and the fancy welcome drink was something different than a regular welcome drink! ambience and decor is so pretty with batik motifs. pool was decent size. was celebrating a bday for 1 room while i booked 2 rooms, and both came with decoration & cake!! wow, exceed the service here! breakfast was nice and cosy too despite not many choices but still adequate. made a feedback on the nasi lemak sambal being was too spicy even for asian standards and was rectified immediately by the manager at breakfast! again, amazing response time. the only minus point is the 4 basementcarpark not having ANY lift to the lobby, an inconvenience tbh.
