If you are a first time visitor using map to reach there be cautious it is middle of busy market street and the road is in pathetic condition and sometime you may end up in wrong direction as the road they it is allowed only for one way traffic.The hotel does not have a proper parking space they may park your car in streets i was bit worried but there is a security.The hotel is set up in a heritage building the furniture they use also mimic the heritage feeling.There are many antique pieces for display as in a museum.We stayed in Museum room which is adjacent to hall where the pieces are on display the room is dark with high ceiling.There is no windows in this room.The view of water from the restaurant is nice and they also has a small pool of water. The food from the restaurant is pathetic and my advice to try somewhere else.

The hotel is about 40 km from KOCHI Airport.It is an antique hotel appears to be carved out of old residence of some erstwhile VIP person.Limited rooms. Pros:Traders Rooms are large and clean Lobby area and hall are full of antiques starting from household articles to cameras to piano to old car.family children can enjoy. Service is good. Deck on the water with good furniture arrangement. Cons: Away from main area. Parking is an issue Entrance narrow Breakfast is limited menu and alacarte.So is the same dinner.Quality and menu needs improvement. Foul smelling in deck area.

A historical gem in an amazing position. We loved our stay at Bloom waterfront, it’s a fascinating building in a very interesting location. We were glad to not be put off by some of the recent negative reviews. The staff were helpful and charming and our top floor room with a panoramic view of the waterfront was everything we could wish for. The pool was clean and well maintained. I understand where some of the reviews are coming from, this place has enormous potential and with a great chef and restaurant and a bit more attention to maintenance and the garden, prices would go up but we would happily pay. The current standard is reflected in the very reasonable price. Front of house, Vishnu deserves a special mention he was so attentive and helpful with organising drivers and laundry

Enjoyed this quaint hotel..staff are very friendly&hospitable Location good for kochi biennale.. Good local breakfast available Rooms can have a few more amenities&better toiletries.. Hotel located in a busy area..so car parking difficult ..

My wife and I stayed at the Waterfront Granary ***** with our 7 year old for a couple of days in mid October. We only have words of admiration and praise for the management of this establishment. Unfortunately for us, the day we were supposed to check in turned out to be a hartal. We reached ernakulam station early in the morning, and found this out. Fortunately, the hotel was ready to accommodate us with an early check in at around 9 am. Check in was smooth. The room was spacious, with an old world charm. Bath was a little cramped, but with all essential amenities. Adequate toiletries were provided, and linens were clean. The museum in the centre of the hotel was interesting. Pool is on the smaller side, but definitely adequate for some fun. The in house restaurant serves delicious food. Sitting on the pier at night watching huge ships and enjoy dinner with family was a memory of a lifetime. The hotel staff were courteous and well mannered. They tried to accommodate most of our requests. They were happy to arrange autos (tuktuk) or taxis when requested. Hotel is located in the busy bazaar street of the old Mattancherry town. But the Fort kochi ferry terminal is just a few minutes walk. Overall, it was an amazing and memorable stay at the Waterfront Granary. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in the Fort Kochi area.
