Fame Residence Kemer & Spa

My partner and I travelled at the end of November for. 10day stay here. English is obviously not the first language as the hotel is predominantly full of Russian and German guests so check in was a little haphazard whilst they tried to get someone to explain the process and how to find everything. They even forgot our wrist bands so we had to go back to reception for them. The hotel itself was lovely, a little tired and needing maintenance, especially in the heated pool area and changing rooms but the staff on duty worked exptremely hard to ensure it was always clean. Towels are on a card basis and can be changed everyday at the spa. As is the norm, people had "reserved" their sun loungers with towels both around the outdoor pool and at the pebble beach but as it was so quiet being off season, we were able to find vacant ones most times. The food is exceptionally good, a wide variety to cater for most tastes. It is presented in the usual buffet style and the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. We didn't partake of the provided entertainment but did observe others enjoying the aqaurobics and yoga in the lovely grounds. We made use of the shop and hairdresser located in the hotel and can recommend them both. The rooms were very clean but again, maintenance is required to regain the 5star experience. Wallpaper peeling and paint flaking along with handles missing or falling off. We had to request another mattress as my husband struggled with it being so firm and the staff had it replaved immediately which meant he was able to enjoy a good sleep. The cleaning staff were excellent, they refreshed the mini fridge with water and juices each day and ensured the room was extremely clean and compfortable. We were moved on our last night so they could close a wing of the hotel but were given a superior room for the inconvenience. The little touches such as the bar codes on the trees for infromation are fantstic and the best part of our stay were the hotel cats and the street cats. We walked to the local supermarket, a 10 minute stroll to purchase cat biscuits and each day would feed the cats and kittens. We would definately return and could definately recommmend to others.

For 17 years im staying in this hotel. Perfect location,nice staff, Good food and clean room. We are happy with my family to spend time here. I think in this area it's one of the Best hotels for the relaxing holiday. I will try to Come here againe next year too.

Hotel was amazing, room and bathroom were so clean, cleaner would come in everyday. The food was excellent made fresh everyday and gave a wide variety for everyone, we especially enjoyed the desserts! Even the coffee machine gave good quality tasting coffees. Staff were very polite and welcoming especially when in the restaurant would always serve us drinks and take plates away once eaten. Only thing I’d say is our room light wasn’t working and the bathroom door was very hard to lock and unlock. Mattress was a little too firm/hard for my liking but wasn’t that’s bad at all. We went to the spa area I got a massage done which i recommend! My mum and sister got facials done which was only 30 mins and I don’t think they thought it was worth it especially since it costed same as my 1 hour massage (50 euros/40 pounds). Sauna was really busy when I went so didn’t get to go there, we went to the indoor swimming pool but water was so cold for us so we didn’t fully get in. But Overall experience was amazing probably better than I had expected it to be!
