Bufes Hotel

Terrible. I turned up to be told that they had double booked my room and they could either refund me the money or I could upgrade to a bigger room for more money. This is an outrage, the hotels fault and not mine, I only agreed to pay the difference for the only room because it was late at night and I had nowhere else to go. The room was hardly an upgrade, it just had a sofa. Not happy with the people who ran the hotel, shocking service and you can hear everything that goes on in the hotel when trying to sleep. Would not recommend

My recent stay at Bufes Hotel Istanbul was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I arrived, it became abundantly clear that this establishment has absolutely no regard for the comfort or well-being of its guests. Let's start with the room. I was appalled to find myself allocated to what can only be described as a dungeon - a windowless cellar with no ventilation whatsoever. The air was stale and suffocating, and the complete lack of airflow made it impossible to escape the oppressive heat. To make matters worse, there was no air conditioning to provide even a modicum of relief. But the horrors didn't end there. The receptionist on duty barely spoke a word of English and was incredibly rude and dismissive when I tried to express my concerns about the room. Instead of offering any assistance or attempting to rectify the situation, they simply shrugged and walked away, leaving me feeling frustrated and abandoned. As if that weren't bad enough, there was a foul stench permeating the room that made it almost unbearable to spend any time inside. It was a nauseating combination of mold, sewage, and neglect that lingered in the air and clung to everything it touched. In summary, my experience at Bufes Hotel Istanbul was nothing short of a nightmare. From the windowless cellar room with no ventilation or air conditioning to the unprofessional and rude behavior of the staff, it was a complete disaster from start to finish. I would strongly advise anyone considering a stay here to look elsewhere for accommodation. We said we don't like the room and vacating, the receptionist didn't care and said we will lose our money and dont get any refund. this was very unprofessional behavior. Please avoid staying in this hotel or else you will lose your money and you will get attacked with some health problems due to the hotel and room conditions. We had to vacate the room in the evening around 6 PM and found another one at 9:30 PM which is terrible as we spent all the day on travelling and then finding another hotel.

Проживал два дня — и остался в целом доволен. Месторасположение просто невероятное: рядом классная улица с хорошими кафе и ресторанами на любой вкус, много морепродуктов. Буквально в двух минутах — набережная с потрясающе красивым видом. А ещё рядом современная европейская кофейня с очень вкусным кофе. Соотношение цены и качества, если честно, не понимаю, откуда столько негативных отзывов. Отель далеко не идеален — есть моменты, которые хотелось бы улучшить. Но по большому счёту за цену хостела вы получаете свою отдельную комнату с двуспальной кроватью и собственным санузлом. Единственное, что действительно хотелось бы видеть — решётки на окнах или какую-то дополнительную защиту, потому что этаж низкий и немного переживательно за сохранность вещей. Хотя район достаточно спокойный, я ничего подозрительного не заметил. Много чего немного поломано, и сильно напрягал запах сигарет — комната ощутимо прокуренная. В целом почти всё так, как пишут в других отзывах. Но повторюсь: за эти деньги лучшего варианта, думаю, не найдёте. Если ваша задача — приехать и переночевать несколько дней, не переплачивая, то это отличный выбор, особенно если вы один.

Very Fair Staff is very rude and wants to get more money. They declare reservations cancelled for no reason to get more money. It's like a dungeon and very dirty. Very poor wifi. Good location. If you are looking to lose your money then this is a good option

I really like the room it's a beautiful old building with good energy Just it would be better to put white new clean plastic free curtains and there would be a cup I have a huge handicap..after i booked a second night i didn't feel so safe anymore i wanted to pay it via hotels here but it didn't work. shortly after i payed him ( he said cardreader doesn't work and i needed to give my last cash money i can't withdraw cash). It was working..i am to sick and weak for discussion with translation. It seems like the situation good abused. It's very sad and traumatizing because i can hardly walk and see and it's not a 24hour reception. For 500 tl even toexpensive because floor was dirty and should have real wood because it's muchdirt there and best energy with real wood and windows looked like haven't been cleaned maybe 17 years..orless because of pollution..but bed could be more clean also.. taken care of sensitively carefully.my friend called because of the price because i could only communicate with translator. Unfortunately my friend understood to call right away..i requested to call the day after to avoid uncomfortablenrg but was tolate so i was afraid to go outside. I am feeling my body today start to feel face and hands the first time after more than fifteen years..i love that it has high walls and would have booked one night more but ..i was charged to much and need money for food and medicine and i am to weak to go out and get it. Ig sarahsafranshaman8 if anyone is around and maybe can help. I amafraid to ask if hecould bring water actually i already told..i need some after he asked what i have & i told.. Bathroom was really smelly and NO HOT WATER. I just took a shower a few hours before check out No towels..i could wash head because i don't feel it because of paralysis but had very strong period..so i needed at least warm water..at least one small towel would have been good small wardrobe was very dirty. the showerpipe was damaged,water spread out. In the small wardrobe there was dirt from empty ashtray .. I put off the sheets to help because all seems to be overwhelmed with all.
