Pickalbatros Aqua Blu Resort - Hurghada

We spent 8 days at the resort. And we have very good time. A lot activity for all people. Kids. Grown up A lot of entertainment everyday something new Variety of food suits all appetites. The crew and service are superb. I will visit pickalbatros over and over again E Gerges

사과를 모르는 뻔뻔한 매니저와 천장에서 뚝뚝 떨어지는 물, 낡아서 안 들어오는 전등, 아주아주 느린 대응, 1분, 2분만 기다리라더니 두시간이 넘어도 아무도 오지않고 방에서 나가지도 못하고 짐도 반만 풀고 방을 옮겨줄 지 아니면 고쳐줄지 아무 것도 결정되지 않은 채 세시간이나 기다리고. 방 구석구석 먼지가 그득하고 야외 수영장은 아이들이 북새통이고 소란하고 식사 때도 정신없이 소란하고. 휴가를 이런 분위기속에 날려서 무척 슬펐습니다. 안 가시는 것이 훌륭한 선택입니다.

Excellent location. Very clean. Rooms cleaned daily and we love our little towel art every day! Large selection of pools and waterslides. Free towels every day for the pool and plenty of sunbeds and beanbags around the pools. Staff are so friendly. Went to the Neverland Show which was free with Tui which consisted of a girl singing quite a lot and then some dancers and acrobatics who were quite impressive. Got served drinks and a meal and had a free goody bag with a his and hers cover up. Show started around 7pm and finished at 10pm. Access to beach is via a bus which is the easiest way in this heat and it picks up and brings back every half hour. You then have access to the sister hotel beach albatross. You can pick up towels from here too and there is a designated part of the beach you can use. Here you can snorkel which we did a few times on the right side of the jetty. If you enter the sea to the left you have the lifeguard whistling at you to say you can't swim even though there are signs saying its at your own risk. The beach to the left does not belong to pickalbatross. We did however go rockpooling here and found so much....we saw starfish,phlegm flatworms (they look as gross as it sounds) urchins,neon tetras. Some evenings we would catch a local bus for 50egp to Sheriton road where all the shops are to try and haggle the prices on bags,belts and tshirts. Some of the boutique shops just off the main roads where there were more locals seemed to be better prices as they were fixed prices. One shop on the main road wanted £60 per bag for a designer fake yet down the side street same bag for £18. Some of these places seriously take the p***. Exceptional hotel though can't fault it although neither one of us escaped having a bit of an upset tummy!

You need to come and experience this for yourself, my review alone cannot do the resort justice, this I am sure. To level set, I came here with my wife and two children, boy 13 and girl 11. Both my children are heavy users of gadgets, this is an important note. I stayed for 8 nights and had a triple room, which consisted of 1 king bed and 1 sofa bed, not idea given the size of my children but we did not spend enough time in the room to care, so this was not even worth raising. The reports of the room being dated are true, however unless you are sensitive to the decor and plan to spend more time in the room than outside, then you might need to factor this into your criteria. We only used the room for sleeping the 6 hours a night. The pools are amazing. Easy enough to play and swim and enjoy between the opening times. I would recommend getting a ball and heading to the pools with the water polo goals to enjoy. Water slides are great and the pirate bucket presents a whole different challenge, come and see for yourself! There are tennis courts and a football court which are free to use, equipment will cost to be rented. We took our own from Amazon and it worked well. Pickleball and padel you had to pay for, we never did but still used the padel courts with our personal bats, so all good. The resort food is great and varied, flavours what you would expect and even the basic burger and chips were nice. Drinks (get the virgin mojito) are all inclusive and makes such a big difference, I never drank so much water and Fanta in my life! The one site theme park is more for younger children but the dodgems is open season for all ages and it’s huge, I took no prisoners during my bashing sessions, even my family got it! The staff work so hard and need to be tipped because they truly go above and beyond. If I could, I would line them all up and hand out money to them each day just to say thanks. Entertainment crew try their best to get the crowd going and the daily activities could be a little better, especially if they shift the program to later in the day when the pools close, then it would be more engaging. Night shows were great! You get a chance to go to neverland resort to get a live show and dinner, it’s a concert that I would pay to go and see. Best part, it was completely free!! Beautiful hotel, lots to do, very clean staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. Entertainment staff and programme suits everyone. We had a family room which was very spacious and clean, our cleaner was fabulous and gave us all we needed which included towel creations which made us smile. I have Coeliac and was helped by chief each time I ate as to which foods I could and could not eat safely. Pools were clean and we all had fun taking part in the various activities. Would fully recommend this hotel.

I had an amazing experience at Pickalbatros Aqua Blu Resort. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the food was delicious with plenty of variety every day. My family and I especially enjoyed the aqua park and evening entertainment — there was always something fun to do. The atmosphere was welcoming, and everything was organized perfectly. I’m truly happy with the service and hospitality, and I will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Amazing hotel. Everything includes, towels, water, food, drink

The Aqua Blu is a very child friendly hotel, part of a three hotel compound. You can walk to the Aqua Vista and Aqua Park Hotels within minutes with access to their pools and restaurants. They also have a shared beach area across the street, which is nice but I really wouldn't recommend for families. There are three main restaurants serving three buffet meals per day with a daily changing selection and multiple bars which all offer truly outstanding service, fit for any 5* experience. There's also an all day snack bar catering to the pool areas as well as a bakery and dessert venue with a Barista for fresh coffee drinks. While the rooms and some of the facilities are dated and in need of refurbishment, all spaces are kept immaculately clean and the staff go out of their way to make all guests but especially kids comfortable. The rooms are varied, some are very spacious while others are more cramped. We were in building 1 on the top floor in a spacious family room with a view of the sea. The entertainment team has a few activities in each hotel throughout the day and an evening program from 8pm to 10.30pm starting with a daily Mini Disco followed by a variety show. Special thanks to Alex and Biha who were very engaged with our daughter. There are too many people to name and thank as all the hotel staff are amazing but a special thank you goes to Mr. Haitham at reception, Alaa at the bakery and Osama at Columbus.
