Casa Blu Boutique Hotel "by Checkin" Adults Only

This was the best holiday we’ve had in a long time. We loved that not only was it adults only but also that there were only 37 rooms - almost like staying in a private villa with your own pool. The vibe was boutique - beautiful rooms & whole place is immaculate with the friendliest staff. We booked to go back next year while we were still there!

Not really quiet sure where to start… Having read numerous reviews about Casa Blu, none of which had any negative comments, that in itself is very rare. That made our decision to book here so easy. From the moment we arrived at reception,I had a feeling that this was going to be something special.. Our suitcases were carried down to our room. He didn’t just plonk the cases down and walk away, he took the time to show us the room and the facilities. The staff- that work here. You are all legends! The cleaners that worked tirelessly to clean our room daily done a fantastic job. The guys that work tirelessly to cook the breakfast ,lunches and for the entertainment evenings. BBQ,s & Asian Nights- absolutely banging quality of food. The guys that work tirelessly to wait on you serving drinks all day and snacks at lunch. The bar staff also who work tirelessly are all amazing guys. Making those amazing cocktails to a simple pour of an ice cold Eza. They remember your drinks. I guess what I am trying to say is that this is the most amazing hotel. Well worthy of the awards that it has won. Amazing and friendly staff who cannot do enough for you. Last but not least I have to mention Dimitris & Apostolis you are both legends. you have the most amazing team of staff working for you. Are we coming back? Too right. Roll on August 2027. We have just returned from a 2 week stay at this beautiful hotel. What more can we say about it that hasn’t already been said!!! Hotel is immaculate, the staff are super friendly, the rooms are very modern and stylish, the food is high quality, the location is perfect……I could go on. We hired a car one day and ventured out to see a bit more of the island. Another day we went on a boat trip. We had a great time. The 3 villages are gorgeous with plentiful places to eat and drink (our expanded waistlines are proof!). Thanks go to all staff for making us feel so welcome.

First time here, and we were not disappointed. The location was perfect, the views breath taking. It was peaceful, surrounded by the beautiful mountain, sound of nature and peaceful. We received a warm welcome, our luggage was taken from us to our room, checking in was so easy. Our room on ground level, with the most breath taking view of the sea, Beautiful room, nicely decorated, balcony with sea view and mountains in distance. Shower area, toilet and sink, again all really clean and lovely. Bed was very comfortable, there also was a sofa which again was comfortable. Tea and coffee, shall cooler fridge, hairdryer, safe, and some vanity items. Shower gel provided, hand soap, shower slippers all perfect. We had bed and breakfast, which was 2 hours each morning and a fantastic choice, of both cooked and contential. Range of pastries, cakes, fruit, teas and coffees. Self service but lovely staff on hand to provide all we needed and if any dietary requirements. Breakfast area was by the pool and agsin views stunning. Lovely calm relaxed atmosphere. They offerd food during the day if you wanted it, but not in evening, which for us was perfect as we ate out. Staff were always friendly and warm. There were two pools, both good size, but very cold, its not heated so be mindful of that. I went in few times and it was lovely clean pool and again facing the most beautiful views. Beech towels were available but at a cost, we had our own. The settings were lovely, lots of shrubs/plants, well thought out. Beautiful village set in and very easy to get around for exploring, plenty of Tavernas, The main town was about 20 mins walking , but plenty of taxis around if you wanted to go further. We had to report a problem with lights, and the service received was efficient and fast, nothing was too much. This is a family run business and I can honestly say because not too big it felt more personal and they had time for us. If we wanted to visit further afield the staff knowledge was excellent. Despite our second week being very different in weather it never spoilt a thing. The staff made sure earing area was sheltered, seat cushions dry. House keeping was excellent, everyday bins emptied, beds made and would regularly change towels. If you wanted anything at the bar it was charged to your room, so just be mindful of that. Entertainment nights were run if enough people went. And then time to leave, check out was easy, Our luggage taken to our pick up and even up to the end the service was excellent. Highly recommend this place, its adults only and the setting is beautiful and peaceful. Fabulous place, lovely people.

Location is great.We had room 604 with own pool, definitely recommended that. The staff are very nice nothing is too much trouble. Everywhere is kept very clean. When I return to Crete will stay here again.

As everyone has commented this is a gem of a hotel. All the staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. Breakfast has so much choice and to a high standard. We ate one evening at their Asian night (usually Wednesday) and again could not fault the food and the service. Piskopiano runs into Koutulafari and you could eat in a different place every night for a month, there is that much choice. We loved Gallinis in Koutulafari, and the only Italian restaurant in the village L'arco was amazing. Only note of caution, there are a lot of steps at Casa Blu so if you have mobility issues you need to check it out before you go. Also we had a really early pick up 5.45 am and all the security /outside lights seem to go off at 5am,so we had to rely on the torches on our phones to get up to our pick up point. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be going back.

This is a gem of a boutique hotel. Nestled perfectly into the hillside with fantastic views over Hersonissos. The hotel & bedrooms are modern and spotless. The staff members honestly can't do enough for you. They're all so friendly and take time to get to know you. Dimitris 1,2 & 3, Apolstolis, Manos, Vangellis and not forgetting the wonderful Paula who went above & beyond at breakfast to accommodate 4 of us. Thank you all so much for a wonderful 10 night's & we hope to see you all again next year ❤️

What a week didn’t want to come home. We celebrated my husband’s 60th birthday here. The hotel staff and food was amazing nothing was to much trouble the staff always had time for their guests even the hotel Manager rolled his sleeves up and helped out. A perfect week we really enjoyed our stay so much so we are returning in May.

This is probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The room was lovely, the position is excellent but most of all the management and staff are just the best. Nothing is too much trouble and they go the extra mile for everyone. Loads of sunbeds, 2 pools, cold beer, good breakfast - just go!
