Amanfayun

Highest quality of service. The staff priority is simply “You” WheChat majordome was very efficient with real capacity to discuss with you. All activities provided were absolutely fine. from sculpting to bath tub… The highlight was probably the singing bowls which were a balm for the soul and the body. Tea degustation was also culturally relevant, while remaining decontracted. Top travel organisation too. You get the same feeling of elegance, decontraction and finesse in the restaurant “Hangzhou House”. The numerous temples (Lingyin, gigantic and profuse!!!) and the tea fields of Longjing give also a great value to the place. The old villa where we spend our night was also special, spacioud, authentic and very well equipped: solid brass bath fittings.!!!) All contributed to a kind of exclusivity.

My expectations were high for AmanFayun, but the reality exceeded it! I felt well taken care of before even reaching the hotel, and throughout my entire stay, from seamless and personal checkin, to dinner, amazing breakfast, and activities. I had a few requests to help organize the rest of my travel in China and the concierge went above and beyond. The quietness and slowed down rhythm (as expected of a Aman) felt extremely refreshing. Can only warmly recommend Amanfayun if you wish to experience the Aman spirit, in a former tea village, surrounded by Longjing tea fields and Temples.

This was our second time at amanfayun and this time was honestly better than last. Their service and overall attention to detail improved since last year and we honestly really enjoyed our stay!

Amanfayun is the first Aman hotel I have stayed and it truly lives up to my expectation. Located deep in the wood, Amanfayun has revitalised the old village by integrating the history and culture uniquely Hangzhou. It offers an experience in which time has slowed down with lingering memories, and where soul finds tranquility. Luxury is defined by experience and time.

In the beautiful setting of Hangzhou, we were able to experience both history and the present at the same time. At the heart of that experience was the overwhelming care and exceptional service of Amanfayun. If the opportunity arises, we would love to return and spend a longer time there. It was truly a deeply appreciated and memorable experience.

We stayed in a duplex villa with 2 separate rooms which is very convenient as we share a courtyard yet with our own privacy. Service was excellent with great attention to details. We had old grandparents with us and the staff paid special attention to ensure they are well taken care of and access the facilities seamlessly.

Increadible hotel - celebrated my birthday and the staff was so kind and generous. The spa treatments are incredible and would so recommend doing the sound bath!

Impeccable location for Hangzhou! My soul got soothed upon arriving the resort, a stark contrast from the hassles elsewhere in the West Lake area. Great getaway for those who are interested in experiencing cultured lifestyle and who love traditional Chinese culture. Was amazing to join the monk-led chants of Yongfu Temple early in the morning and enjoy Amanfayun’s tea gardens.
