J Residence（Xiancun Metro Station, Zhujiang New Town, Guangzhou）

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable, allowing me to sleep well every night. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious food, and the location was excellent, close to public transportation and many tourist attractions. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and convenient place to stay, and I would definitely visit again in the future.

I’ve stayed at J Residence many times, and every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. This place is truly a hidden gem. What makes it so special isn’t just the property—it’s the people. Every time I return, I’m welcomed by the same friendly faces. Even the wonderful housekeeper who cleans my room has been there every stay, and that consistency makes me genuinely feel at home. The location is simply unbeatable. Within a short walk you’ll find everything you could possibly need: fast food, excellent local Chinese restaurants, upscale dining, Michelin-starred restaurants, supermarkets, luxury shopping malls, and a beautiful park that’s perfect for an evening walk. In my opinion, it’s the best location in Guangzhou. A special thank you to Kayee, the manager. He is absolutely exceptional. Even on his days off, he always makes himself available to help with anything you need. That level of care and dedication is incredibly rare. Over the time, he has become not just a fantastic manager, but also a friend and an amazing human being. My stays in Guangzhou are typically two to three weeks at a time, and I can honestly say there is no hotel—five-star or otherwise—that I would choose over J Residence. It offers something that luxury hotels often cannot: genuine hospitality, comfort, and the feeling that you’re coming home. If you’re looking for a place that will exceed your expectations, I cannot recommend J Residence highly enough.

Was a lovely place to stay. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in Guangzhou over the years, and this is by far the best one. The rooms are large, with kitchen facilities and a full fridge, as well as a washer/dryer combo. It made the stay really easy. There’s a supermarket nearby, where I was able to pick up groceries to do breakfast and snacks in my room easily. It’s also a convenient location, but most taxi drivers don’t know the name of the hotel. So I just had to make sure that I had to provide full address, as opposed to just the hotel name. But it was super easy. And the staff are wonderful at the hotel too.

Our stay at J. Residence was very pleasant overall. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around, and the staff truly made our experience enjoyable. Every member of the team was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. They assisted us with our luggage, parcel deliveries, food orders, airport transfers, and regularly checked in to make sure everything was going well. Their service was consistently prompt and professional. We arrived at around 9:00 am, even though the official check-in time was 2:00 pm. As our rooms were already available, they kindly allowed us to check in early, which we greatly appreciated after our journey. The breakfast was adequate and satisfying, although the variety and overall quality could be improved. That said, it was still a pleasant start to each day. Overall, we had a very positive stay. The outstanding hospitality and genuine helpfulness of the staff were the highlight of our experience, and we would happily recommend J. Residence to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation with excellent customer service.

Blum and Shelly were absolute standouts — genuinely kind, attentive, and made us feel like honored guests rather than just another reservation. But honestly? Every single staff member we encountered was a gem. They were patient, friendly, accommodating, and incredibly responsive to our needs. Oh, and they speak English, which made communication seamless and stress-free. In a city where language barriers can sometimes be tricky, this was a huge relief and added so much comfort to our stay. The Room: Spotless, Spacious & Stocked The suite was immaculate — and I mean spotless from corner to corner. It had every amenity you could possibly need, plus extras you didn't even know you wanted. The views from both the bedrooms and the living room areas? Breathtaking. ❤️ Waking up to that scenery and unwinding with it in the evening was pure magic. It was the kind of space where you immediately kick off your shoes, sink into the couch, and think, "Yeah, I could live here." Breakfast: A Feast with a View The buffet breakfast was next-level. An incredible spread of food and drink options that went far beyond the standard hotel fare. Whether you're a savory breakfast person or have a sweet tooth, there's something (or ten somethings) for you. And yes — the views from the breakfast area were just as stunning as the ones from our room. Eating pancakes while gazing out at Guangzhou? Chef's kiss. The Vibe: Clean, Chic & Convenient Everything — and I mean everything — was spotless. The property radiates a sense of care and attention to detail that you don't find just anywhere. Bonus perks: There's a movie theater, KTV, and a cool cocktail bar right downstairs on the first floor. Just step outside, go next door to the left, and you're there — it's that close! Perfect for a fun night in without going far. Location: Prime Real Estate for Exploring You couldn't ask for a better spot. K11, tons of shops, diverse food options, the metro, and buzzing bars are all within easy reach. Whether you're in the mood for high-end shopping, local street eats, or a night out, it's all at your fingertips. Easy access to everything you'd ever need or want. The Verdict I love, love, LOVE this hotel. It has officially earned its place in my top 3 favorites in all of Guangzhou — and that's saying something. Avoid room on 29th floor. The whole floor smells like kitchen. The staff assigned room no.2912 which was next to the restaurant , the whole room smelled like kitchen sink but I didn’t check the smell at the bed in the daytime . At night, I had to sleep in the sofa because the smell at the bed was unbearable. I had to cover my face with my t-shirt and I barely slept all night . That’s horrible. The next day, the staff assigned the new room on 28th floor for us. The corridor smelled bad too, but luckily there’s no smell in the room
