Kusalo Guesthouse

Conveniently located right by a bus stop and supermarket. Very simple but it was all we needed!

Similar to another reviewer, we informed them of late arrival, which we were told was OK, and then no one was around upon arrival with the room we were supposed to be in locked. Really poor service and refused to compensate. Furthermore, rooms were dusty, a blanket in the cupboard was unclean with blood on it, and the shower didn't even have a clip for the hose on the wall so you had to hold it to wash. It's a reasonable location and price, with a pool in its favour, but that's about it.

We stayed at Kusalo for three nights and it was excellent, comfortable beds, equipped kitchen and calm pool. Friendly host and accessible in terms of availability and language. In the simplest terms, it fulfilled its purpose. a little difficult to find, even with a map, for those of us who don't know it, at night, it was a boring adventure. Take advantage of the fact that you can walk and discover the city!

This is a lovely guest house with four rooms, a warm swimming pool, with a great location, 15-20 minutes walk from the Old Town, 10 minutes from the Port and bus station and nearby Lapad. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the aircon works very well. There is a supermarket, bakery and cafes and restaurants in the streets adjacent to it. Owners were friendly and very hospitable

This is a lovely guest house with four rooms and a warm swimming pool 20 minutes walk from Dubrovnik Old Town and 10 minutes walk from the Port, also easily walkable to Lapad. Rooms and pool were also clean and the aircon works very well. The owners are really nice and friendly.

Nice property close enough to town that you can walk or catch a taxi. Very nice room, clean, and with good air conditioning. I recommend this place if you are staying in Dubrovnik!

I sent several messages explaining that I was arriving at 2am prior to arrival. The day before they informed me that somebody would be here. No body turned up so ended up sleeping by the pool. Customer service at Its finest!!!! The person in charge lives abroad and sent a message saying sorry I can't help you.....great!

This was a cheap place to stay so not expecting much but for the money it was ok and the location was excellent

Ok place to stay and very affordable. It was a bit hard to know who works in there and how to get checked in and get the room and keys etc. Room was OK as I was not expecting any luxury. It was quiet and I slept well and felt safe to stay. Location is a short bus trip (or a long walk) away from the old town and tourist spots. There are stores near the apartment. Overall a budget friendly option to stay and really nothing to complain about.
