The Residence Dublin

The location is walkable to the Houston train station and Guinness storehouse. The bus stop is nearby too. Tesco up the road. We had a tween bedroom in the quiet spot, and shared the kitchen with a few other couples. Our room was spacious with a private bathroom. Unfortunately we have had a problem with a shower drainage that was leaking over to the floor. That was fixed when I complained. Beds were clean and comfortable. Handy to have a launderette on the premises. Good place to stay over all.

Cerca del centro con paradas de bus a 5 minutos. Baño compartido limpio con ducha pequeña. Si lo necesitan, no disponen de adaptador para el cargador del teléfono.

I guess I didn’t realize the rooms were student housing, so I shared a bathroom with another suite occupant. That was okay. No available cooling source in my room, windows opened a little bit, but no air circulation on this hot week. No extra towels in bathroom. Had to ask the concierge replenish the toilet paper. Staff were all very helpful and polite. I did enjoy my stay, but it felt more like a nice hostel than a hotel.

Reasonably priced, comfortable bed, located 10-15 minutes from the city centre by bus, a supermarket nearby, great for a short layover.

Shower head was broke. Which makes me wonder if they even cleaned the shower because how can you rinse it without a shower head? Shower is clogged and does not drain. Even after having it fixed it still did not drain. Could not get extra towels. Walls look disgusting and things were not cleaned well. Room smelled like sweat. No extra toilet paper in room. No fan or A/C. Also had to wait until the next day for the shower to get fixed so could not shower before bed and had to wait 24 hours to do so.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed three nights and all three nights were quiet. Would stay here again!

It was a nice place to stay but the bed was against the wall so awkward to get in & out of since my husband goes to bed first & wants the outside.

Nice and clean room, functional for my needs. Only downside is no temperature control in the bedroom, which meant you've got to sleep with the window open, and the window opens onto a common area where people from other rooms sit and talk on their phones half the night. Which ismt ideal. Good location for Dublin zoo, city centre and in general a nice place to stay

The room was unbearably hot! No AC, no fan, no air movement and no way to control temperature. The shower head was broken. The neighborhood was great with lots of dining options. Some nice coffee options nearby. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. This was a three night stay and served the purpose. One more night would have been one night too many however.
